I don't know what is so surprising about this. It has been known for quite some time now that this is an exclusive game to the 360. I mean sure does it have a chance to go multi? Of course, but for now it is exclusive.xscrapzx

All you and other folks have done is shown a few reasons why that poster could end up false one day. The fact still remains that Star Ocean 4 is exclusive to the Xbox 360 and no one here is "owned" for believing it will remain exclusive until it's officially announced to be a multiplatform title.

My understanding it's a 6 month exclusive deal so if it comes out anywhere past mid 09, you won't see it on PS3 till 2010.

I've come to not trust any marketing by Microsoft ever, so this has no effect on me. If at TGS we start hearing the words "360 exclusive" from Square then I'll care.lantus

star ocean is very popular in japan so if sales flop then 100% going to ps 3 in japan at least.

star ocean is high profile game that gets big bugets so if there not happy with sales then 100% going to the ps 3.

Well, since FFXIII coming to the 30, plus IU, plus the timed exclusivitiy of TLR, SE has been showing a lot of love for the 360, so it is not impossible that it remains exclusive.

It is also not impossible that it goes multiplat, but there's no proof about that, so all we talk is mere speculation.

Yup.. a lot of them said that when Tales came to the Xbox 360 as well. There are a lot of people who don't like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest as well. So you're not the only one.

I like most of the JRPG's and WRPG's that get released, so I'll be picking this game up when it's released.

Oh.. and the developers did say they would look into porting the game to the PS3 sometime in the future. they just didn't give a time table. So it may still end up on the PS3 a year later.
