Star Ocean looks cliche but it still looks like it will be an enjoyable RPG. Quantum Break looks amazing but has those horrible TV show segments injected into the game. Both look enjoyable to play and both have things people can criticize.

The thing I don't get about xbot drones is that they come into JRPG threads to complain about the games being JRPGs, WTF? Seriously, that's not even an argument and shows you guys to be really desperate and pathetic. I don't really like RTS games, but you won't see me going into a hyped RTS thread and complain because the game is RTS that's just idiotic.

This is an RPG which mean you most read as fu** have a nice time hope you have a major in Japanese language...lol

It was fighting games and more simple games and one get loss,i know i use to import many games in the old days specially for PS and N64,even bough several magazines for their PS disc demo.

Lip syncing looks horrible, stiff animations and the combat looks sluggish, yeah I'm gonna pass.

I played a little bit of SO3 but none the games have interested me and this one doesn't look that good, still won't know for sure till it releases I guess.

I remember liking Star Ocean 2 as a kid, that is the only reaction I had while watching that. Besides you know the anime nature of that game and the awful lip-sync

@nyadc: That may well be, but you know damn well no one is going to ordering imports of the PS3 version from Japan. If you are that interested in JRPGs like this you likely have or will be buying a PS4.

His import argument only works for games like Demon's Souls where the japanese version had English text, English voice overs or both like Demon's did.

Unless you are 100% fluent in Japanese an import of an undubbed JRPG is pointless, just like his argument.

I'm assuming all lemmings know how to speak Japanese now and regularly import games.

Never played a fire emblem game so not sure what those games are like but to describe star ocean i would say its a mix of mass effect in terms of space and Tales in terms of fighting

so its not turn based, its real time.

Some of the worst lip-syncing Ive seen in a game and it looks like a PS3 title. Seems like every Star Ocean game lets me down in some way or another. I'll still probably give it a shot. I want to try to get into this series, but it's hard.

I love Star Ocean but did they have to make it so awfully anime-weird? I loved the first three games in the series but this is just too anime for me, I'll still be getting it though.

Hard to really get excited after the last two Star Ocean games were such massive disappointments for me, but I'm gonna be keeping an eye on it for sure.
