75 on metacritic (higher on user average). Never hyped above= no flop. You choose to post IGN score because it is far lower than the average. All of a sudden IGN is important around here. You are a buffoon.

On top of that, this game scored higher on Meta (still high on user average) than Farpoint, which basically destroys your entire point/thread. Retire now, sweetie. You have been obliterated.
First of all Star Trek:Bridge Crew is not a PSVR exclusive so stop trying to make this another SW argument.
Secondly, it's a VR game with no depth. So, what's new? Practically all VR games right now feel more like demos than actual full fledged games. And that is because VR gaming is in it's early stages and it won't step up until the next gen of VR headsets/games drop in and it becomes more mainstream.

holy shit flop point is almost at 69? lol and you post this here to actually defend star flop? lmao

isn't it a timed exclusive?
and yes PSVR sucks at this stage...but some people are hard headed.

No, it's not. And even if it was my point still remains.

Farpoint metacritic: 70 with a user avg. (AKA actual gamers) of 8.5
Star Trek: Bridge Crew metacritic: 75 with a user avg. of 7.7
Basically, everything you have posted is BS, which is normal for you. In other words, you are a failed troll.
/idiotic thread. (Again)

i don't think you are reading what you are typing rocko..... everything in your post points to flop... flop with critics and praise by people who spent 500$ on PSVR.
Star Trek: Elite Force let you wander around the ship freely, ogling Seven Of Nine, that game's a decade and a half years old. Likewise we have had plenty of bridge commanding/adventure Star Trek games with more than a gimmick going on like Star Trekâ„¢: Starfleet Academy and Bridge Commander.
Probably a lot better than this shit.
Who needs VR to pretend you're in Star Trek. I produce my own captains log every morning on my captains chair. Even found a few Klingons this morning but that mainly due to my own poor personal hygiene.

If Nintendo had not been utterly destroyed by Sony in recent times, this thread would never have been made.
Outside of that fact, the basis for this thread is not based in fact, as according to critics, Star Trek: Bridge Crew did better than Farpoint.
But all of this is beside the point. You feel threatened by Sony's success, which is why this thread exists. There is no other reason.
You are sad. There is no other way to describe you.
@KBFloYd: Star Trek: Bride Crew is being praised to no end over on Steam and they are some pretty picky consumers. Also read in their reviews that it's cross-play with PS4 so the community should be plenty healthy. Since this game has cross-play support, your whole thread is busted my friend, busted!
Sounds like a pretty fun game, definitely something that would make me consider getting a VR set. Shame it's on UPlay, so it's basically a turn-off to some gamers here.
Looks pretty decent overall from what I read, Star Trek games don't have a good track record overall and this seems to be one of the more unique and interesting ones I've seen. The atmosphere and the dynamic between crew members is apparently well done. I'd definitely buy it if I had VR. Maybe some time in the future
? Someone's insecure and butthurt about PSVR's success. Another thread backfire from the Sheep village idiot. I got Bridge Crew yesterday and can safely say it's some of the most fun I've had in gaming. Tons of fun to play with drunk friends especially if the drunk friend happens to be the the ship's Captain. I highly recommend this game to my fellow SW VR owners.
Pssst...it's not a PSVR exclusive. You might wanna do some research about a game before you make threads about it. Makes you look like less of an idiot lol.
People were expectung a game?
VR and Kinect are and were trash at being gaming devices.
And in any case people are missing the point about PSVR, Sony have already succeeded with it, they have forced Microsoft to pour money into Hololens which they might as well have burnt, it will never work not even outside of gaming, the technology is flawed.
And they will cry when they see what other companies are coming out with trust me.
3 points here
1. A 7 is not a bad score.
2. Never trust IGN
3. ACG seemed to enjoy it quite a bit, and hes one of the most trustworthy reviewers in my eyes.
Lems still jelly PSVR is the best place for vr. Maybe next gen lems.
That's like saying eastern europe is still the best place for prostitution...
I follow a few people on Twitter who have had a blast with the game. I'm not the biggest trekkie, nor have I boarded the VR train yet, though I'd love to sit down and play this for a couple hours.
You can't "/thread" your own posts. Stop it
And lol, yes, please. If we post a thread and then type "/thread" I may as well come in and lock it if discussion is done. :P

There are lots of good Star Trek games. Armada 1/2, Elite Force 1/2, Star Trek 25th Anniversary, Judgment Right, Deep Space 9: The Fallen, Star Trek: Klingon, Star Trek: The Next Generation: Future's Past, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, Star Trek: Bridge Commander, Star Trek Klingon Academy e.t.c...
As far as tv show to video game goes, aside from maybe anime you'll be hard pressed to find anything that matches the quality and respect to the source materiel. A lot of these had the original actors doing work for it as well.

really? is that why cows shit on xbox because they are successful?
thank you rocko now that we analyzed why we have console wars now we can end thread again lol
Tekken 7's PlayStation VR mode is a low-effort bolt-on
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-05-30-tekken-7s-playstation-vr-mode-is-a-low-effort-bolt-on
tekken 7 has a vr mode?
hey im surprised the PSVR rehab group didn't hype it....
but i guess i see why.
@uninspiredcup: Yeah I know there are some good ones out there, but overall with the amount of Star Trek games released in the past decades, it's only a small percentage that turned out good. I remember playing a lot of crappy ones a long time ago, during my PC gamer days. One thing is for certain, most good Star Trek games are on PC , not on consoles. However I did enjoy my brief time with Star Trek online, I'll play it more when I get a chance.
Lol @ the OP for trying to close his own thread. I've seen some thread backfires in my time, but this is one of the worst.
Also lol @ the fact that Star Trek Bridge Crew has received general good scores according to Meta, a fact the OP has conveniently left out.
Also lol @ the fact that the game is getting high praise over on Steam, with a "Very Positive" overall. Considering how harsh that place can be, this is pretty impressive. Right now there is a huge community for this game that spans most headsets, not just PSVR (with cross-play to boot). Good times.
In other words, try again, sheepish one.

The game is still mediocre. Lets not pretend or fool oneself.

this is about the ign review go ahead and make a thread claiming how awesome star trek is...lol...i'll be sure to post in your thread and try to close it with a witty comment lmao.

The game has gotten "Good" reviews according to meta; according to user reviews (actual gamers), it has gotten "Very Positive". Where in this you read mediocre is up to you, I suppose.

Its a move in the right direction but its not a good game. Come on man.

Sorry, dude, what you're saying just isn't valid. Mediocre games do not get praised on Steam; good games hardly get praised on Steam. And Star Trek Bridge Crew has gotten universal praise on Steam. That should tell you something. Gamers think the game is not only good, but great. You'd see that if you weren't, well, you know what you are.
You can post gifs of Jack Nicholson laughing all day if you want. It won't change the above fact.

Now steam is the defacto standard for what is considered good or not? LOL. Sony fannies are getting desperate. I thought that official sites were only thing that matters and those official sites are claiming otherwise. Funny how things change.

Star Trek fans will tell you anything to do with Star Trek is good unless you like something in Star Trek that they don't like.

I'd say I thought you were being purposely obtuse, but being purposely obtuse is all you do around here, so for me to not know that, I'd have to be obtuse myself.
I'm not obtuse, dude.
Star Trek fans will tell you anything to do with Star Trek is good unless you like something in Star Trek that they don't like.
Star Trek fans are generally quite objective compared to Star Wars fans. They do not pointlessly praise shit or get excited when they see a light-saber.
The game is still mediocre. Lets not pretend or fool oneself.
