Starcraft 2 will be the greatest RTS and/or Game of all time!

This is a proven fact. Starcraft continues to be my favorite game ever, and the second one looks even better, and caters to the fast, action packed gameplay of the original.

The only RTS games that have had any impact close to Starcraft, imo, are Rome: Total War, Homeworld, and Sins of a Solar Empire.

though at least the computer didnt cheat quite as bad as it does in dark crusade.

Actually game wise the story in SC is much better than in the DoW games, you actually have memorable events, characters and not only one great cutscene. I can't even remmeber the name of one guy from DoW, but I do remmeber, DeGal, Alexi, Kerrigan, Jim Raynor, Fenix, Tassadar, Mengsk, Duran etc. The cutscenes, especially in BroodWar opening and ending are amazing, and the events like the anime inspired Tassadars sacrifice are much more memmorable and better handled than whatever is in DoW. SC actually got a nomination for story of the year, DoW did not.

Also if you are to stupid to notice the differences between WH40K and SC, then I will not even bother. Oh and StarCraft is an AAA franchise where the original sold over 9 million copies and is still played by many all over the world, Dawn of War is an AA franchise that sold 2 million eaten up by WH40K fans.

Ahh no, Command and Conquer, WarCraft III, Age of Empires III, Battle for Middle-Earth, Emperor: Battle for Dune, Star Wars: Empire at War, World in Conflict, and Universe at War all make StarCraft look like garbage. And probably other RTS games that I haven't played yet, such as Company of Heroes, Dawn of War, Sins of a Solar Empire, and Supreme Commander, will make StarCraft look like trash as well.

That all depends on who you are playing. Sometime you wipe suckers out because they suck, but when you meet someone that is good, its a WAR and you have to be focused.

Anyway I have played Starcraft quite a bit acually probably over 500 online games of it. I have played Warcraft 3 probably close to 300 online games of it, and despite how much I like both these games I am not gonna say either one is the best game ever.

It isnt my favorite game ever. It is one of them, but not my favorite.

If it was however, I wouldn't try to shove it down people's throats that it is the best game and there is no other game better, because that is simply opinion. I definately wouldn't put fact at the end of my opinion sentence either.
