Even before the werewolf being revealed in sonic unleashed, the game didn't look too great. To me it seems like the game is playing itself from the gameplay videos i've watched. I think everyone would be more happy if they went back to how Sonic and Sonic 2 was. I'd definitely play a remake of the first 2 games with just better graphics and the same levels and gameplay over this new stuff they're trying to shove down our throats. It's sad what Sonic games have turned into, :(
I actually liked how Sonic Unleashed looked. I think it seems like the game is playing itself because its the developers and they are good. Once you got nasty with genesis Sonic games you could run through them and make it look like everything was automatic when it was really that you had gotten the level memorized to a point where you could run through it with ease.

Also, if you're referring to "Sonic Adventure 1" and "2"--then I wholeheartedly agree. If your talking about the originals--then I sure as hell wouldn't. They were good for they're time, but we have made a really good transition to 3-D. They're just pretty much lost right now on what to do beyond SA1 and SA2.
I personally think "Sonic Unleashed" is looking pretty good so far--I do feel like the werewolf aspect is pretty much the only glaring issue I have with the game, knowing they simply could have went for a much more darker, powerful, faster and sinister version of "Sonic"--similar to spider-man and his little blacksuit thingy.

I saw some of it, it looks meh to me. Don't get me wrong, I hope the game turns out good, but so far i'm skeptical. To add to when I said it looks like the game is playing itself, I don't know if it's just how they set the camera for the videos, but the side-view looks really close in.
