STEAM: Civ 4 Complete, 10 bucks. Non-PC gamers are missing out!!!!!!1!

Yeah, so that's Civ 4, Warlords, Beyond the Sword and Colonization. And if I already didn't have all of those, I'd be all over that.

But seriously, anyone who doesn't have Civ 4 should pick this up, it's one of the best strategy games ever made.

I played Civ IV for a little bit, but I found that I had the most fun playing multiplayer with friends especially since the games took forever!!!!!!!!!

None of them play now, so there's no real point in me getting it for myself.

Dude there is a PC games board. I don't see how an old game going on sale is system wars material.

Not to mention it Civ4 + Beyond the Sword allow you to experience the bliss of Fall from Heaven II, a mod which is bassicaly one of the best games (yes games...not just mods) made in the last decade

actually I can think of one...Civ 4 can run on basically any PC.. even on my pc or my brothers pc(not a gaming pc),etc.**I dont care what type of pc you have. as long as it can play games it doesnt matter**:Dits not demanding and the entire series is on sale for 75% off..oo and I love my Wii and the Ps3 as gaming platforms:oops:

One part of my brain exploded as I've been waiting for this game to drop down in price on steam and to get the Complete pack for €10 is so good it almost hurts.

The other part of my brain realises that Steam still doesn't match retail prices as I could have got this pack from retail for this price 6 months ago. There is a reason why retail is still very impotant to PC gaming.

This is a fantastic deal if you only buy DD games for PC, if you buy PC game at retail this is the averge price you can find the game for.

This is the case for most Steam games. They rarely match the retail price of a game unless it's on a sale.

I for one pretty much never visit the PC forums.

Nobody is rubbing it in anyone's face. The guy just came to tell people about the deal going on.

People post deals they find on 360 consoles, PS3 consoles, buy 1 get 1 free game deals at Toys R Us, etc etc. They post them here because System Wars gets the most traffic by far which means more people are hearing about the deals.

Lighten up, seriously. You're the only one here taking offense to it. Everyone else is happy to have heard the news (as you can clearly see that some of us actually found out about this deal because of this thread)

I prefer Steam though for several reasons and will gladly pay 5-10€ more than retail if I can have the security, easily cataloged library and knowledge that I will always be able to play my games I buy from it. I'm not paying 40€ more than retail though.

I wouldn't be angry about the price difference between steam and retail if I didn't want the steam version.

Actually I can. At least where I live.

Or at least I was able to before it dropped out from the retail-stores I could have gotten if from.
