STEAM: Civ 4 Complete, 10 bucks. Non-PC gamers are missing out!!!!!!1!

Well here is Anno 1404 for 10€ and here is Civ 4 complete for 10€. The website is in swedish but it's like every other retail store so it's easy find what you want if you simply search for it.

10kr = 1€.

I don't thnk you have noticed the Steam deal has not just Civ4 complete, but also Colonization 4, which on your swedish site costs 99 kr. Thus the Steam deal is still twice as cheap as you can get in retail.

I also live in country where game prices in retail are lower than on Steam, but this deal is just too amazing and it looks like I was right for doubting you ;)

Oh, I didn't notice that steam had bundled in Civ4 Col in the pack.

That should teach me to not buy on steam to quickly without looking at the content more closely :P

Alright, you win the battle this time, at least for another 3 more day until the steam pack is back to 40€ again ;)

I also never said that the steam deal was expensive. Just that it matched the retail price of the game (which it didn't as you pointed out). 10€ even without colonization is a mind-blowing deal for all the hours you will get out from it.

There are three games I have desperately been waiting to drop in price on steam. Europa Universalis 3 complete, Civ 4 complete and Anno 1404. These games are much more expensive on steam than in retail. Not anymore with Civ 4 though.

I'm not saying that steam is ripping people off. I just pointed out that steams already cheap prices could be found cheaper in retail. All I'm sugesting is that people shouldn't forget to look outside the box once in a while to prevent themselves from bad deals in the belief that they are doing a great deal. I know several people that buys everything from ebay simply because they believe everything is cheaper even when I know that you can find new games for half the price in retail.

I have it but i never play it. mostly because i cant be bothered learning how to play it. and when i played civ 3 it wasted entire days with single games. great game though. just alot of effort to get into it.
