I traded a $10 game for the DRM version. I'm not sure if I should get it again if it goes on sale well enough. Do you think I should? just add the DRM-free one as a non-steam game, no point in buying it twice. I prefer having it in my Steam game collection and I like achievements...

Yeah I already own The Witcher 2, but I was hankering to play Saints Row 3 so I'm glad that won. I actually spent like 2 hours in the character creator, just screwing around, making Niko Bellic, someone who looks like me, someone who looks like a sexy version of me, Emma Stone, etc.
So I am excited to see if SR3 offers more then just an awesome character creator.
Well I voted for Brink, it has an interesting art style.

i did too i knew basically right away that it was going to be either brink or stronghold. GRAW2 was basically out of the question GRAW as a franchise is rather bland and basic.. it will never be worth its own price tag till we see it on sale for ~$1.00
They're about 5 bucks for both, but I don't really know if they're my kind of game.
Can they run on a pretty low end laptop? I can run L4D most of the time and Minecraft pretty alright, would I be able to run these games?

terraria is so basic if you cant run it im going to recommend you upgrade your computer cause it was made before the intel pentium III XD trine is fairly low end so yea
terraria is basically 2d minecraft with more to do in it

So i have now bought the 2k collection (Bioshock 2, The darkness 2, Civ V, Spec ops: The line, Mafia 2, Duke Nukem Forever), Terraria, The Penumbra collection, TW: Shogun 2, Saints Row 3, all the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, Trine Franchise, Indie Bundle 1, and Legend of Grimrock. Grand total of $154.92 spent so far on the first day.... Hoping for TW2 to get a 60% deal sometime soon.
The only definite purchases I'll make this year are the Ys games. Just waiting to see if they'll be a daily deal / flash deal or not. Other then that, my backlog is already too big and probably won't get anything else unless something really stands out that I can't resist.
Figured Strong Hold 3 would loose... :( Got Star Wars The Force Unleashed 1 and 2 for $10. Already own them on 360 lol. But never got around to ever finishing them.

Strong Hold 3 is $30 right now with 25% off. If it won it would have been $16. Guess I'll have to wait till another steam sale for it.
