Steam Sales 2K Games 50% vs 75%: Bioshock 1 & 2 75% Off

Bioshock, Mafia 2, Civilization IV / V, MLB 2K11, NBA 2K12, Borderlands, Duke Nukem Forever, Sid Meier's Pirates, Sid Meier's Railroad, etc.

2K games developed all these games, or they at least developed one of the games from that franchise at some point They're all on steam at a discounted price for the weekend. Actually at some point every single one of those games are all at 50% off mostly. All the games are up there until March 12th.

Yesterday, Borderlands and all DLC for it were 75% off. Every other game up at the top of this post was 50% off at the time. Now today comes in, and we see that Borderlands and all content of Borderlands are only 50% off as opposed to 75% off from yesterday.

Today, Mafia and Mafia 2 are 75% off, when they were 50% off just yesterday. That 75% offer is only lasting for 24 hours, and then tomorrow it will be back down to 50% and staying through the 12th. So while Borderlands stepped down from 75% off Mafia 1 & 2 then took the baton and became 75% off.

So what about Civilization, Duke Nukem, Bioshock, MLB and the other games/franchises? 2K Games will hold specials at I'm thinking 75% off for some or maybe all of the games for Steam at some point. There's still Saturday and Sunday to see what will be 75% off as opposed to 50% off. As Mafia & Mafia 2 drop back to 50%, another set of games will have the 75% discount. That's when to buy. What I would do is wait for all the other 2k games to have an opportunity to drop by 75% (except Borderlands because that's already passed).

If they don't have the particular title 75% off at any point, the offer will still be there through the 11th and shut down some time during the 12th (for me, 12:00 pm CT). If the game(s) you want never cut by 75% and you can at least get them for 50% off

To sum my point up as simple as I can make it, it's: Don't take any of the offers at 50% only for it be 75% off a day later. You'll know by the 11th that if the game(s) you wanted didn't get to be 75% it won't happen, at least not for another long period of time. Wait and see if the game you want drops by 75% before buying at 50% off.

Plug a mic into the mic jack on the front. Should fix it, that or run it in compatibility mode or try both. Can't remember how exactly I fixed it, but I had the same problem, and I think it was just plugging in a mic made it work.

I'm one of the few people here that actually USES the platforms that he criticises.

Everybody else is sitting around trashing games they never played, trashing platforms they didn't give a fair chance to, talking about things they don't understand and generally tweaking their nipples for a brand or piece of plastic.

I played Civ 5 demo and loved it so I got it. Simple.

I don't only criticise Steam.

I criticise Xbox Live.

I criticise Sony.

I criticise Ninty.

I call it like I see it and make no apologies, and I use everything before I talk schit about it, unlike kneepad commandos.
