Steam Summer Sale...IT HAS BEGUN.

Totally forgot this thread was going on in SW since im mostly spending my gamespot time on the pc games forum.

Ok I just did my final purchases and I think i have a huge list to show. On the left are all the games i bought during the 2011 Steam Summer Sale. On the right are all the games I alread had in my steam library before the summer sale. The last pick are all the prizes I redeemed. i still have 1 ticket left and plan on getting the worms reloades and ares tickets to have another total of 3 tickets to redeem Men of War: Assault Gear for when i buy it in the future.

Things that i got that are not shown are some magicka dlc, killing floor dlc, and worms dlc. Im pretty satisfied with all this and brings a total owned games to 184! The scary part is that my wishlist still has about 50 games on it. Guess that's for future buys, hopefully during the steam 2011 black friday and xmas winter sale events. Comes to a total of $198.84 spent on 51 games during the 2011 steam summer sale, ouch.

I feel like i may have over did it, but do you guys think spending that much was worth it for 51 games? Anyway, here are the pics of my stuff.

Quick semi-related question. I see NWN2 on the store for 13 bucks and I've really wanted to try, though I heard it launched with major bugs and lost interest over time. Is it worth getting these days? I assume they've fixed the camera and most of the bugs?

I bought Farming Simulator 2011 today :P That'll hopefully be my last game off Steam for the year.

I did really good for myself this year! I only bought:

Borderlands GOTY - I already beat it, so technically it's not a part of my backlog

Frozen Synapse - Quite fun, and I like the online (but I fear my friends won't be interested for long despite enjoying it)

Farming Simulator 2011 - Only played an hour today, but I've enjoyed myself a lot so far :)

So yay me! I didn't add too much to my already massive backlog!!! That's always a good sign for me :P

I got about 140 entries in my games list, it was totally worth it especially since I'm building a new PC to play them on

Well I've only bought four games for myself this year (that I need to beat).

Believe me this is a huge HUGE step up from the last two-three years I've been buying from Steam :P And I have money! Lots of money! And yet still resisted purchasing from this summer sale. :D

Well the Publisher Packs are back on sale for the day. I'm really considering getting the iD pack.
