Still no Elite dangerous, Still no Magic, on the ps4.

PS4 gamers was crying to have this game to play on the Playstation lol. Dude the PS4 has enough magic when it comes to games so this thread makes no sense.

I don't think anyone was crying since it's been confirmed to be coming to PS4 for a while now.

This type of game is best played on a PC with a joystick and HOTAS setup. I pity anyone that thinks they are getting a superior experience playing this on the Xbone. I don't know why OP keeps remaking this thread when no one cares about this on Xbone.

Point out 1 PS4 gamer that said they really want to play this game? Fanboys all the time make pointless threads like this like both consoles don't have games to play. I guarantee no playstation gamer is sitting at home wishing they could play this game lol. I bet 90% of them never even heard of the game so what "magic" doesn't the playstation have? The Last Guardian, Horizon, SF5 far surpise any hype this game doesn't have.

Well I know quite a lot of people that play this game on the xboxone, not everyone has a gaming pc.

A hotas setup costs quite a lot of money as well. I guess you don't realize not everyone has or wants to spend that kind of money on a pc + joystick setup and /or they want to play with friends on the xboxone. Besides, being confirmed is one thing, being able to play right now, and for months already is another.

I don't keep on making this thread, I made this one because it keeps on being postponed to later dates, for both games.

Elite Dangerous was never announced formally for the PS4. It was hinted at by Frontier that a PS4 port was likely in the future. From what I've heard the plan is still to do a PS4 port eventually. It's just not high priority.

Dude, a thrustmaster HOTAS X is going for $38.30 on Amazon..

that's cheaper than the price of a controller lol. As for a gaming PC, Elite Dangerous will run on simple office laptops. Its system requirements are so low...

Oh I thought you were talking about another setup, I'm using an even cheaper joystick.

But even then, some people still want to play on the couch , it's one of the reasons some people buy a console in the first place and/or they want to play with their friends on the console.

As for those system requirements, not every office pc has those system specs, far from it actually. Elite also makes use of better hardware and the xboxone has way better specs that those requirements you posted.

It's only obvious that elite on the xboxone will look way better than elite running on a pc like that.

Oh it will but will also probably look better on a PS4 lol and since the game is destined to arrive there eventually people can wait for it. I get that some people will enjoy Elite on an Xbone but it's hardly a reason for PS4 owners to get jealous of Xbone and rush out to buy one. I'm sure the majority of them will have the patience to wait since Braben himself said it's a timed Xbone console exclusive...

If you ask me space sim fans on Xbone have far more to be jealous of since No Man's Sky and Eve Valkyrie don't seem to be coming to Xbone.

Oh yea, I can't wait for it either. It's one of my most anticipated games of the year to be honest.

That's all well and good but in the meantime ps4 players cannot play this game (or a similar game), while xboxone players can. By the time it release on the ps4 there will already be other similar games again, everspace for instance.

Meh a game that came out no where near what they touted it would do when it was kickstarted. Then they go and make the business model of making previous promised game elements payed expansions to the game... I couldn't be bothered with it when so many better space games exist.

hmm never heard about that, doesn't have any multiplayer though, and it hardly looks like something of the scale of elite. Allthough everspace is single player as well, didn't know that.

No man's sky is planned for june, and eve valkyrie probably april or something, when the oculus comes out. Elite dangerous is already available since last summer on the x1.

Well, I did read that somewhere (that it would be released by the end of the year). However, I cannot find that source anymore so you're probably right that it was never planned for this year (not officially anyway)

Magic was officially planned for 2015 though.

I have both on the Xbox One (X1 and Wii U owner), PS4 only gamers aren't missing anything. I've probably put a combined ten minutes into both. Though I will say I could get into Magic, if I ever get in to it.

Elite is a great game, but if I was a PS4 owner I would be OK because you have games like No Man's Sky coming soon. It may not be the same game, but for many people it could satisfy the same itch, so to speak.

It's worth pointing out though nonetheless, because the PS4 promoters here constantly try to remind us that the PS4 has so many more games than the Xbox One, but that doesn't mean it has every single game that Xbox One has at any given moment. This is why I usually find it redundant to own more than 1 console per generation, because you usually have a few games in each genre to satisfy you regardless of the console you own. So whether I am an Xbox One or PS4 -only owner, I can play space combat games on either one if I get that itch. One console may be stronger in one genre compared to the other console, and then you have the exclusives of course. Either way Elite is great but it is a simulation so those who like those types of games should definitely check it out if it eventually comes out on PS4.

I have no doubt they can make it happen, how good the game will look with is sadly another story

WeakSauce PS Bore couldn't handle Elite, it would likely blow up and be Dangerous, flinging ground beef across the room. :P

i dunno, i was surprised at how good gears ultimate actually looked and that uses the old unreal 3 engine at 1080p/60fps, it really does look amazing the only disappointment was the upgrade didn't go further than the visuals, it was too easy because i still remembered where all the locust popped up from the first game and it was EXACTLY the same in that regard.

there also a rumor that Gears 4on the Xbox one will be DX12.

We will just have to wait and see but personally i have been impressed with what i have seen so far.

tbh Elite's one of those games you would probably be better experiencing on a PC y'know purely for the joystick setups etc which I wish I could have but I doubt I could get that setup lol.Thats why I've never got round to buying it on xbox one unless it was on sale for around £15.

Magic is a non point for me, its one of those games I've never bothered about and to be brutally honest is fairly niche much like elite but in different aspects of course.Magic only really hit the mainstream big time lately due to south park.

I and two other people are angry about Magic not being released yet.
