*sigh*
Super Mario Galaxy looks pretty, it does not look amazing technically, but it sure is artistically beautiful. That is why many people are saying this game looks amazing. Because, you know.....it does.
At least it will still be better than Ratchet and Clank. It's okay though, you can still look at your game and see how pretty it looks.sexy_chimp
Ohhhh burn.

That's all up to opinion.
Funny considering many previews state it is one of the nicest looking Wii gamesnext to Metroid Prime 3. I could say the same about Halo 3 though which has crap graphics compared to Bioshock, Crysis and UT3.

Get the name right already. It's not Super Mario Bros. Sunshine/Galaxy. It's just Super Mario Sunshine/Galaxy
Now that it's confirmed you know nothing about the game, seeming as you didn't even get the name right. Go look at some gameplay vids.

I'm sure it will be the general consensus that Super Mario Galaxy is better than Ratchet and Clank, both to reviewers and gamers.

That just nulified any crediblity you have ever had. Its not a Super Mario BROS. game, its just Super Mario. Do some reasearch. Since you don't even know they name of the game you can't honestly know the graphics.[QUOTE="VGobbsesser"]It does have good graphics, both technically and artistically.RickGotti

My eyes are fine, that's why I can see all the jaggies in the screenshots
Game looks a lot better in motion, like all Wii games.

Galaxy looks and plays great. The visuals are beyond Sunshine in that they are generally more polished. The game appears to run in both progressive scan and 16x9 widescreen modes, for starters. (Incidentally, it also supports Dolby Pro Logic II, once again confirming that Wii will not be able to output in Dolby Digital.) But Mario's animation is improved, and the game has a decidedly more cel-shaded-esque look to it, particularly the smoke particle effects that appear under Mario's feet as he runs and stops. The particle and lighting effects in the demo were top, particularly during the lava boss fight near the end.

As a final note on our playthrough, Super Mario Galaxy is shaping up to be one of the prettier games on Wii, and this demo was no different. Subtle effects such as reflections in crystals, distortion in the water, puffs of smoke when Mario runs, and some of the best textures we've seen in a Nintendo game all help make Galaxy a simply beautiful Wii showing. The lighting is fantastic, and the world seems full of ambient animations that really add to the experience. Character models morph and stretch in ****c Mario fashion, and the overall presentation is bright and crisp. There are still a few oddities with the camera, as you'll sometimes have quick glitches when dealing with smaller worlds or strange gravity changes, but we're more than confident that it's just one of those "E3" things, and that all will be well for the title's release.

And you completely ignore everything else and went for "on Wii" because you'd thought that'd be enough for you to end the argument.:|

 Way to own yourself and your future credibility. No one is going to take you seriously. I hate to break it to you but many of the upcoming Wii games look better then Xbox 1 games. Of course they do not use the realism of Ninja Gaiden to do it but still look amazing with proper art direction.
It looks great compared to other Wii games but fails in comparison to numberous Xbox games. This Wii vs Xbox grudge match is getting intense! :lol:dracula_16
I can't think of an Xbox Game that looks better.
AA becomes unimportant when you're playing a game with descent resolution and frame-rate. I'm assuming it runs at 480p at 60fps which is great. You shouldn't pass comment on the graphics when you haven't even seen the game in action. Only speculation as to how they might turn out.groudyogre
Of course it doesn't look like 360/PS3 graphics. But the game still has great graphics which probably look better then any last gen game.Wanderer5
ANY last-gen game? are you including Chaos Theory in this?
