Will there be an assassins creed demo? Kewl at least two of three games I am questioning on which to buy will have demos so I can see how the gameplay is and make better judgement. I love demos dude

LOL because PSN gets things last, that is if they even do get it. The only exceptions are games made to intrigue the people of Japan. I barely see any good 3rd party demos on PSN.

I had the PC demo for a like week now. Kinda boring imho, kinda like max payne. Im just into those kinda games.

I beta test for ATi, sometimes we get their demos a bit early. :D

Graphics could do with some work, as could some of the cover/diving. But this is how to do a action game, destructible environments, bullet time ect, very nice demo. I would even go so far as to say this is more fun that Gears of war...if multiplayer works well then I will buy it. Bullets4Brains

I think it's fun in ways but the cover system is terrible. The diving and all the moves are basically like preset moves it will do again and again with different kinds of diving but only the scenery will look different. It doesn't at all feel like I have a lot of control. I thought the matrix game with neo in it was way more fun then this.

Also I would prefer it to have a mix of hand to hand combat and guns as the hand to hand combat is minimal.

I think the gameplay is a little...I don't know clunky? or weird feeling it's not smooth like the demos I saw looked to be.

I also think this will get boring after a while which I guessed before and I think I'm right.

It's a pass for me. Looks like it's between Bioshock and Assassins Creed now for me.

And gears is waaaaaaay better than this game

I don't get why devs wouldn't do it for 360 or PS3 or Wii if they get the title too. I mean it's like free advertising. Try the game out. I think it's bad for people who make crap gamescause they can see if they hate it off the bat. Like when they released Alien VS predator there was no critic screening cause they wanted people paying for it as much as they can on release before they most likely heard it was crap...

Microsoft said the demos don't magically appear there hence the reason Live is a Premium online service. The demos don't require the Live fee and I think there are over 100 demos on there.

Anywho I didn't like it. Didn't feel as fun to move around as the last matrix game IMO as that seemed to have more moves and more things you can do as apose to this game. And this is based on the demo and the other stuff I watched online of the gameplay in different levels. The diving gets boring fast and it because redundant for me

I agree with a lot of that, it does some things like precision aiming really well, but other areas need polishing, Gears is a more solid game, but this game has far more action going on at any time. And that's going to sell the game to a lot of people, I could see this game getting repetitive maybe, but you could say the same about many games including Gears of war. I liked it, but I don't know if I would pay full price for it, will wait and see what multi player is like.

no he didnt have infinite ammo. it just seems like that cause tequilla doesnt reload. the max of ammo he can hold is 120 while he can only hold 12 ammo shots on his shotgun.

game was ok i guess. to me it was like meh. had a lot of max payne like elements while adding their own. i was impressed with being able to interact with the environment and a lot of destruable things in the demo. ppl who love games like max payne and action movie should enjoy this game.

I agree the camera was bad at times.

And the level design for the demo was pretty meh for me the one in I saw online which is the same scene the demo ended with, that restaurant, that one looked better

I agree. Its purpose is for us to test the game out so we aren't buying games we dislike which I'm sure many of us have many times before. Ofcourse reviews and online vids etc.. help our judgement way more then back in the Genesis days or even PS1 days but still people have different opinions and sometimes you just gotta get hands on. Good example of that is Killzone for me which I really liked and Stranglehold which looked amazing in vids, turned out meh for me when playing it gameplay wise.

Demos should be the standard now for most if not all games released. Although I know the top top games are less likely to have them like Halo 3 SP or MGS4 SP

Bah! I went to go download it and I get an error code! I checked it out and the last time people got this error code was when marketplace downloads stopped working. I even tried to go stream some media from my PC and that wouldn't work because it couldn't download the codec from XBL. This sucks, I want me some tequila.

EDIT: On a different note, I'm pretty sure this game can't flop. I recall most people stating low expectations for the game.

i DLed it 3 hours ago and i had no trouble. took me 15min to dl stranglehold and 7min for eternal sonota.

i thought the DL was going to be slow earlier cause ppl were saying it was.

I was being a little sarcastic haha, PSN usually comes in last for 3rd party demos.

It is not that PSN sucks, it is that the developers do not care about the PS3...if there is not a demo on PSN this Thursday, then my point is proven.
