This is nothing new from Capcom lol.

I'll keep my launch day version in its box until they patch that up.

Lesson to learn from this Gen?

Don't buy games on launch.

Unless they are Nintendo games!

Guess I'll have to wait and see. The framerate issues are unfortunate, but I couldn't care less about the lack of story mode content. This is a MP fighting series first and foremost.

from GameSpot's Review in Progress...

There are no difficulty settings. It has a laughably easy and short story campaign for each character. And by short, I mean they can last anywhere between two and four fights from beginning to end... based on my experience, you can complete everything in the story mode, for all characters, in less than an hour total, by doing nothing more than repeatedly sweeping the legs of your opponents.

WTF you would think lack of content and lunch troubles should be on publishers heads by now, especially sony. Several games that could have been hits score much better, but sony fu**ed up for no reason. Drive Club, The Order and now this. They should know that people want content at lunch not later. Gran Turismo Sport is next, as a game will actually be the best PD game for a long time, but Sony is going to give you 2 cars. The term Greatness Await make sense now lol

I don't think sony had much to do with SF5's issues.

Sony is the publisher. They could have delayed the game if they wanted to.

Nope. Capcom is. Sony just provided money to Capcom to develop the game if I recall.

Your right says published by Capcom. Damn should have known this was coming. I feel sad for games that are actually brilliant but ruined by flaws and initial bad press.

let's hope the PC version is as well optimized as Dragon's Dogma was

I'm playing it right now and it runs as smooth as butter with no frame rate issues or anything at ultra settings.

It's a great port.

I blame Sony

All Sony did is fund it. Capcom just sucks.

Sony funded it.

Sony chose the deal.

Bright future.

Are you so delusional that you can't even give Sony some flak on their choices ?

You're just being self-destructive. You're a full on Sony fanboy......and you're fine with bad decisions that Sony make.

Okay, so the game runs fine on PC, but the PS4 version has issues- is that right? Right now, the problem seems to be mostly server and connection issues.

Do I have it right, or are the problems sorted right now?

Obviously you're launching a smear campaign on the PS4. This is just like what happened with Just Cause 3 and the XB1.

@faizanhd: That was a few generations ago, back when publishers/developers had more respect for their customers and before they realised how easy it is to hype gamers up with fake gameplay videos at E3 before milking them with subscription based multi-player, annual rehashes and DLC. Nowadays, they release unfinished games and rely on a day 1 patch to finish it off or just release it without a patch at all. It seems more console games are released with issues than PC games do, which is impressive considering the amount of PC games that release every month vs console and the diversity of PC hardware.

It's funny that official reviews of this game are on halt or "in-progress" until issues get fixed. Didn't everyone review Master Chief Collection in it's broken state of online?

Correct me if I'm wrong here. But why is Street Fighter V getting a pass? Legitimate question.

@remiks00: There are a lot of SF5 reviews, and they haven't exactly been glowing with praise. Most outlets who are holding out on reviewing SF5 are also the ones that held out on reviewing MCC- like Gamespot.

SF isn't getting a pass. Most websites learned from reviewing Halo so early before it's in everyone's hands that putting out early reviews just to say your first hurts your credibility, especially if the game turns our broken. I don't remember if GS gave their review early for Halo MCC but a lot of websites did and they got burned so now most if not all websites hold off on giving reviews for games based heavily on online play which makes sense. No one is getting a pass, it's the right way to review online focused games.

@Zero_epyon: So it's actually pretty solid offline, but online is more iffy.

I stand corrected. Thanks for clearing that up. At face value, it just looked fishy. But I didn't have all of the facts.
