Street Fighter IV online..why should I play it on X Box Live?

Now, I have both systems, no fighting stick for my X Box 360 nor X Box Live, so I bought it for the Playstation 3. And I ask myself, and other X Box Live users who are now playing and paying to play Street Fighter IV online: How does it feel knowing you play Street Fighter IV online for free when you're paying for it on X Box Live? majadamus

Well, i bought it for PS3 as well. I am satisfied with it, but, there is one thing that bothers me. I played nearly 60 matches online today and not ONE person had a microphone. I am sure the 360 players were chatting it up during matches. The microphone is the most usless accessory on the PS3.Videodogg

I'm perfectly fine with it. More of my real life and internet buddies have Xbox 360's so I buy multiplatform titles on the 360. Simple as that. And yes, I have a PS3.

I absolutely hate that argument, sure once in awhile there are annoying people but there are also fun people to chat with too.

Agreed. I feel it unfair and dumb that I have to pay to unlocke a mode in a game thats free everywhere els after I just spent 60 bucks.

Honestly how good is it online for the 360? Its not too easy to find games on the PS3, especially if you are not the one creating the match. KingNabster

I find games very easily on the 360 version

Yea I wanted to find a character that clicked with me that wasint ryu or ken and his name is abel. I also switch to sakura and dan here and there.

some people just have a 360 for a console.

Try using focus attacks/counters. But yea dan and fuerte are at the mercy of the uppercut gods so are most people without a anti magic ability or uppercut themselves.. like bison. I personally use cammy.

The thing is, you are not paying $40 to play SFIV online, but $40 to play CoD4, CoD5, RS Vegas 2, Halo3, Halo wars, Forza 2, GeoW2, MotoGP08, GTA4, Race Pro, VF5, DOA4, SFIV, SFII HD Remix etc etc, access to DLC for Forza 2, Fallout 3, GTA4, Mass Effect etc etc, Download HD movies, Demos, XBL arcade games etc etc...you can get these services for free, but if you use them all, the actual price you are paying for each is cents and so worth it due to how easy and accessable everything is as well as the inteface for inviting friends to games, video chat, normal voice chatting etc etc.

XBL users know it's worth it, so don't try to claim it's not when you are not a user and have no experience to say otherwise.

Yea ken pretty much is the uppercut god. Its cancels out pretty much everything.

Sagat...is probably the most imbalanced character in the game IMO. His damage is just WAYY too high.

Or it could be either 50 bucks for a new game or live in order to play my games fully. I shouldint have to make such a decsion. I wouldint mind if you had to pay for the other features of live,but just making you pay to play online something that should be free. Especially when others do the same. I had live for about 2 or 3 years and honestly I can live without it. THats an extra 50 bucks in my pocket for a new game or just to have money in my pocket.

I finally took SF4 online on XBL today. It's really easy to find games. I kept getting challenges one after another today that I had to turn the option off just so I can play the arcade mode. It probably has to do with being the weekend.
