Are you using a Media Center remote?

After dusting off my old MC remote I found that it is able to navigate through the menu of the 360 and is able to turn it on.

Happens all the time, if the 360 is on and i change the channel just to check something (360 on pause)...it restarts, once i go back to my gaming channel (hdmi mode) it's restarted. I was thinking this was a normal thing with the 360. it seriously sucks.

This has never happened to me. Then again... I don't watch tv while my 360 is on, I play my 360 or watch videos on the 360 while my 360 is on...Jandurin

It never happned to me too, I sometimes change it to check something on the TV. But it didn't restart.

Now the PS3, when I change it to the TV, it grows legs and arms and starts to beat me up, delete all my save guys, and then restarts.

Hmm...That's odd. I often change the channel when I'm playing my 360, sometimes to an entirely diffferent console.

You might want to google it, or phone up the tech guys.
