I have no need for higher than 1080p and i'm not wasting my money on a useless 4k TV. I would only to watch movies on a big living room with a really big TV, not in my game room.

Useless gimmicks, just like useless 3D.

Planning to get one 4k monitor in 3-4 years from now.

Yup. TV stations cant even do native 1080P don't have the bandwidth and won't for years to come.

pretty much sums up this "Super HD" or "4K" nonsense.

Consoles are lucky to get 1080p now, next enxt gen will hopefully be 1440p, but it won't go higher than that.

Then again PCs have been doing 1440p for a while now

after trying to play sleeping dogs on 360 after I Played it on Pc, I'm looking forward to/hoping for improved visuals/resolutions.Heil68

It's quite jarring isn't it? Some people claim it's not a big difference but it's a lot of things combined, the resolution and framerate alone I think are huge. But Sleeping Dogs on PC looks fantastic. 

seriously how much more high def do you want, i'm pretty sure they can't get much more high def, and 4k tv's are £25,000 all i want is 1080p and alot higher frame rate graphics can get a whole lot better just on that let alone super HD, seriously the next step is controling real people lol

Its called Ultra HD "aka" 4k. not super.

anyways yeah PS5 and Xbox1440 should support 4K native games.

while PS6 and Xbox2880 should support 8K games.

When 4K televisions are in maybe 30-50% of households then probably, yeah. Maybe not even next-next-gen but next-next-next gen.
