Bowser's Fury is a nice surprise, a solid Mario title, the performance is pretty crap in handheld mode, but playable. I'm liking it more than Odyssey already.
I don't know man, there's really not a whole lot to not like about this game. It's fun. Mario 64 is great though. Just can't really see using it as a reason to dislike this game lol.
Oh yeah, it's just Protoss doing Protoss things lol.
But underneath the troll post he has a point, even if unintentional. The game is crazy limited mechanically, a very grounded Mario game with less room for player improvement than the usual. I remember this irked a lot of people when the game first came out.
Still, not a bad game by any stretch. Tons of levels, tons of variety, and a hefty post game with some great challenges. Champions Road might be my favorite final stage in a Mario game tbh.

Well I mean I thought the game was gonna play atleast as good as mario 64 when I played it felt nothing like that game at all.
Its mechanically worse in everyway nobody is gonna speed run this game like mario 64 its not gonna hold its casual as crap compared to mario 64 nobody is gonna be replaying this game 10 years from now its not the 3d standard mario. Mario 64 thats the standard you either match or beat it if you don't your not good and not worth 60 dollars. This did not do that I had been out of mario for awhile i thought this would be a good jump in point it wasn't. Now im out again im questioning nintendo game purchases for now on cause I didn't like playing it at all.
Though not a bad game, 3D World was a disappointing 3DS sequel with NSMB influences. If you wanted a finely crafted single player experience, this didn't fit. The linear, wide corridor, fixed camera levels were obviously for multiplayer shenanigans. Playing it alone felt like soloing Borderlands: playable, sorta fun, but obviously missing the point.
I tip my hat to Nintendo though, as not only did I buy it on WiiU, I'll buy it again for Bowser's Fury, which at least sounds more like an Odyssey style expansion.
Well this is the game that launched my favorite Nintendo Character of all time (Captain Toad) so yeah it is a must have for me.
He first appeared in Super Mario Galaxy. Though I guess you mean "launched" as in "playable".
Yes. This game had the actual levels. It is not until this game that his future game was born.
