Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are better than 99% of 360 and PS3 games

They are better than 99% of games period. They are the best games this gen.

It's true that SMG 2 is the greatest game this gen, but multiplats andPS3 exclusives are better than every other Wii game.

Heh, they're boring as hell to me.

I don't like platformers all that much and can't stand Mario so I'd be inclined to disagree.

Not even the best Wii games, Zelda and Xenoblade Chronicles.

In terms of pure creativity and polish, I'd say Super Mario Galaxy 2 pretty much trumps everything this gen. Super Mario Galaxy 1 on the other hand played it much too safe. In terms of pure level design, New Super Mario Bros. Wii trumps both and Rayman Origins is the best platformer this generation IMHO.

In any case, Nintendo's first party completely dominates 360's and PS3's, but the 3rd party titles on both HD systems give Nintendo a run for there money.

And they are leagues better than any other Wii game too. Skyward Sword nor Brawl touch them.

Brawl is still fun after 4 years...probably one of the few Wii games I come back and play. After finishing SMG, I really didn't look back to it.

1) SMG 1 and 2 are not better than 99% of PS Triple/Xbox 360 games

2) Even if they were (which they're not) then the Wii only has 2 really good games while the others are lackluster. I'd rather take the much higher number of quality games than 2 games that are really good.

Naw, Skyward Sword, Punch-Out!!, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii are all better than Mario Galaxy 2 and there are a bunch more Wii games that are better than Galaxy 1 :P

On that same note, there is only 3 games on my PS3 that I like more than Galaxy 2 as well: Batman Arkham City, Rayman Origins, and Super Street Fighter IV

These are all at the top of the gen to me

They are 2 of the best games ever made and critically acclaimed. Of course they are

not even the best Wii game

Arent games like GTA4, Gears of War, Mass effect 2, Halo 3, Batman AC, TES V: Skyrim, RDR and some others, more or less as highest rated as Uncharted 2 and MGS4?
