Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are better than 99% of 360 and PS3 games

1 is the best and by that i mean best at putting me to sleep. I can see why people like them but I found 1 very boring and 2 looked just more of the same so why bother.

The SMG titles are among the best this gen. Objectively. You could not have a respectable top 10 list without one of those two titles.

Grew out of is not a bias at least from my POV, I was exposed to more complex game mechanics, design and overall packages that nintendo games, and mario in particular do not provide. By grew out of I simply mean my tastes evolved and I started expecting more out of games.

Not liking Mario games is perfectly fine, but those that say they "grew out of them" are either still kids themselves or just really immature people. Did you grow out of The Simpsons or Ratchet & Clank, Viva Pinata, Little Big Planet, Pixar films or Family Guy? Are you too mature to listen to music, too mature to have an imagination?

I'm not buying it and I think it's just a fanboyistic way to try to insult your favorite company's rivals.

Well I'd like to see how you came to that conclusion. People's tastes evolve you know, grew out doesn't mean "we are older, that so kiddie" as you are making it out to be (at least I hope that's not what the other people mean). The reality is, mario games are extremely simple, when you are exposed to better and more games, the simplistic nature of mario games simply loses its appeal for some.

Good gravy no. Especially to Dynasty Warriors 7, Final Fantasy XIV, Sonic Colours, Other M and A Crack in Time. Unless you were joking/trolling.

Well I certainly had a lot more fun playing them than the majority of my 360 games. I can only think of a few games that compare, such as Dark Souls and Bayonetta.

Now have I played every HD twin game on the market. But the sheer level design of both Galaxy games combined makes them an embarrassment of riches in quality. They are worth buying the Wii for, something no two-game set can do for any other console. Without making the OP too complicated, TL;DR (why?) they just whoop nearly all of the HD twins' games. Theres a catalogue of games BETTER than SMG1-2. Besides, look at the hardware, Wii is not meant to be compared simply cos it can't compete.

In terms of.. STORY, GRAPHICS, GAMEPLAY, FUN FACTOR, CO-OP, ONLINE, IMMERSION, REPLAYIBILITY and so on.

ONLY a FEW GAMES HIT EVERY SINGLE NOTE.
Most of theses are like Anti-Christ games of Nintendo fans.

To name a few... MGS4, Halo, Gears of War 3, Half Life, Mass Effect, Team Fortress 2, Uncharted 2, Skyrim, Bioshock, GTA4..

TINY WING HD iOS game GOT 92 on METACRITIC.. But it does'nt make it better than 95% of console/pc gaming library does it??
