I hate to break it to you, but even Xbox games never looked as good. Proof that with the right art direction, games like SMG look just as amazing as 360 and PS3 games.

Look at Medal of Honour Heroes 2 for the Wii, that game looks much better then Call of Duty 2 or3does by a long shot, but the art direction is rather bland and pale looking, mainly greys, browns and other dark colours. I know the game won't be out for a while yet but at least it is a step in the right direction for the Wii, as it is one of the best looking Medal of Honour games to date for a console that runs on that kind of hardware. But then you look at a game like Gears of War for the 360 or Lair for the PS3, both look amazing and their lack of vibrancy in colours no one complains about. I like how SMG is vibrant, it is a nice change and I think it is appropriate for the hardware the game is running on.Sure it may not be life like but looking back at games like Ninja Gaiden, with the right development, the Wii could no doubt pull off those kinds of graphics were the time spent doing so, Nintendo knows it is possible but they just chose a different approach.
