[QUOTE="NavigatorsGhost"][QUOTE="---OkeyDokey---"][QUOTE="daveg1"][QUOTE="JiveT"] Little bit too much hyperbole in this thread. Mario games usually provide a decent bit of challenge and the red coins are really tough to get but they aren't mature games by any stretch. The storytelling, art design, and gameplay are aimed squarely at children. That there are many adults interested in this doesn't change that fact.

nintendo aim there products at 8 year old boys....well with the wii most of that might have changed with some of its games but i doubt that demographic will have changed any with its games like mario...some people here who still find Mario interesting who are above those ages just dont like the idea of them being labeled as kiddie just because they still like what Nintendo offers.which is fair do's but to flame other's because they point that out just shows how insecure they are...
why would anyone deprive themsleves of a fantastic game like this because it has a cartoony artstyle? wouldn't that be insecurity?
just grow up people, being "kiddie" isn't a viable criticism, and since thats all you got im gonna choose to ignore you from now on.
HINT: kids games don't appeal to some people.
so you aren't getting ratchet & clank or littlebigplanet for your ps3? your loss.
Why is it my loss? Ever heard of preferences or different tastes? I don't enjoy playing kid-friendly games, I had enough of those when I played NES, SNES, and N64.
