A) Which one looks more innovative?
I would say LBP. Yes SMG is a Mario, but who can beat your own map maker on a console, with some of the best physics I have ever seen?B) Which one looks more fun?
C) Which one do you think will score higher on GameSpot?
D) Do you like tacos?
Kind of
A) Which one looks more innovative?
Physics games have been done but I haven't seen a game where center of gravity plays an important part in gameplay. Mario wins out.
B) Which one looks more fun?
LBP looks like a developer's game. If you want to create stuff, that'd be your game. Mario is more of an actual game that's not relying on user created content. Mario wins again.
C) Which one do you think will score higher on GameSpot?
Not sure. Ask me again when they are both released.
D) Do you like tacos?
Tacos are pretty awesome.AvIdGaMeR444

Does LittleBigPlanet an entire game plus a level editor, or are you expected to do nothing but make levels yourself with others?yodariquo
I'm sure there will be pre made maps to play one. If there aren't, then nobody would have anything to play for the first few days.KoreanX

A game that can be beaten with level progression and not just a few demo stages.
A) Which one looks more innovative? Mmmm...tough, I think LBP looks innovative and SMG also looks innovative, so TIE
B) Which one looks more fun? SMG by far, LBP doesnt have any enemies (at least in the level they showed) and it only has puzzles using the game's (amazing) physics, which arent that fun for me. SMG looks FUN all the way.
C) Which one do you think will score higher on GameSpot? Probably SMG but who knows with GS weird ratings:P
D) Do you like tacos?Of course I do:P and other kinds of mexican goods

[QUOTE="AvIdGaMeR444"]The same, except: C) MG should score higher because it's more of a complete game.A) Which one looks more innovative?

[QUOTE="Redmoonxl2"][QUOTE="AvIdGaMeR444"]The same, except: C) MG should score higher because it's more of a complete game. I have a lot of questions about how well the entire concept of LBP will work in terms of an actually genuine platformer, but I'll mention that Space War was released (well, created) 45 years ago with centre of gravity as pretty much the entire part of the gameplay (not that a puzzle level editor hasn't been done before. Or even with the use of physics for the puzzles)A) Which one looks more innovative?

simply put. LBP is basically like flow. it seems fun for a second, till you realize its not fun as you thought it was, or would be. it looks like something you play for a second, thanks to the physics, but thats the main focus of the game. its definitly like flow, where you eat and grow, main focus of flow is evolution.
