Super Mario Oddysey, Wolfenstein, and AC Origins out on the same day

I'd choose Assassins Creed Origins from the list, but I won't pick it up until I get a complete edition (and to confirm its optimization), for the time being my money is gonna go on a GTX 1070 for next month.

Never played any of the AC games before. Why so much hate?

@Black96Z: It gets similar treatment as COD due to the yearly releases. This gen in particular, the releases have been pretty rough at launch (Unity, Syndicate, three arcade games). The games felt rushed. I feel that Ubisoft giving Origins the extra year should help change peoples view on the franchise.

I admit that I enjoy them, but haven't bought one on launch since Brotherhood.

Assassins Creed is still ongoing? When does it end?

Not getting any on release, but Odyssey is the game of the three that I am the most interested in. Don't really care about Wolfenstein (I've been burned out on first-person shooters since before the mainstream latched on to them in 2006), and while Origins looks great for an AC game (which means it will only be "ok" compared to everything else gameplay wise), I'm going to wait until I can get it for $15 or less on sale for PC. Waiting for more than two games that I want to play being released before I invest in a Switch.

If the rumors are true about GTX 1070Ti, I would hold off on buying regular 1070 and see if they'll lover the prices on GTX 1080 at the very least. I love my GTX 1070 but if we see lower prices on a GTX 1080 if Nvidia does announce 1070Ti, might be worth the wait.

I'm waiting until November before I can make any decisions, I'm specifically targeting the 1070 because of this, if everything people say about the 1070 Ti is true then the 1070's price should go down to €350, and thats what I'm hoping for, if it doesn't and still remains freakin current €450 price then I'll get a used 980 ti instead since both cards have roughly the same performance but the latter can be found for the price range I want. A 1080 is definitely out of the equation though, since there is no way that card will go below €400, let alone €500 (although IF the 1070 Ti goes no further than €400, I may lean more towards that, but the benchmarks will have to convince me though).

@Dark_sageX: That makes sense. When you do pick up 1070, you're gonna love it. Huge improvement over my previous 970.

ass creed origins....i don't have the cash for this month. so i'll have to buy it december or january.

and mario....well, i need it like the moon needs the night.

it used to come out every year like call of duty. and the game was basically the same with only the time period changing.

Mario first, and possibly AC depending on reviews and giving Ubisoft the usual buffer they need, since they like to release buggy broken games to start with

Hopefully AC Origins goes on sale for PSN's Christmas sale, I cant justify it otherwise. Wolfie isn't my type of game and I'll probably never own a switch.

I’m definitely picking up Super Mario Odyssey! The rest of the multiplatforms I want, I’ll grab when I get my Xbox One X.

Mario Odyssey and AssGreed are already preordered. I already hate ACs Lootboxes no matter how they are implemented. Maybe I'll get Wolfenstein later. I do like what I've ssen so far, but I didn't like the last game.

LOL, they have loot boxes in AC now? Jesus. I mean, I wasn't gonna buy the game anyway, but..

So far all we have seen so far are Lootboxes with ingame currency. They argue that they are there for people who have "maxed out the economy" of the game. However, with the premium currency Helix credits that can be used to buy ingame currency, it could just as well be there to make you spent on Helix credits. Also they were always refering to "these loot chests", which could mean we'll see some premium Loot Chests for Helix credits only. I'm really skeptical

Odyssey is going to be CONSUMING my life for the next few months at the very least. I’m glad I’ve only seen the initial reveal trailer and a few second snippets elsewhere but otherwise I’m fairly ignorant of what’s coming.

It’s coming up fast, I can’t believe we’re nearly there. Don’t really care for Wolfenstein or any others, everything will be on the back burner when Mario hits.

Now you either pay or you use a save editor everyone seems to hate.

I am getting AC Origins and Mario. Should be an awsome weekend switching between them!

@drummerdave9099: I legitimately dont know which one you're referring to. All 3 are highly anticpated games with huge fanbases. In that sense they are all like the others.

Mario day one. I'm going to wait and see how Doom Switch turns out before I decide if I'm getting Wolfenstein on Switch or PC. No Ass Creed for me.

just get mario. by the time you're finished with it, the other two will be at least 20 dollars cheaper.

makes no difference tho if you buy mario now or later, mario games don't price drop.

Not everyone has a switch though, I'd even wager: most of the people here.

So yeah might as well wait until switch drops in price, or switch mario bundle drops in price ;)

Getting both WOLF and Mario on day 1. As for ACI haven't played that series since Xbox 360 was the king of console gaming ( i miss those days :( ).

But obviously if you don’t own a switch my suggestion to buy mario first is null.

Like wise if you only have a switch AC isn’t going to be an option for you.

im not into Wolf games at all, i might buy in a serious discount in few months

Odyssey looks cool but i refuse to buy a Switch for 3-4 games max so ill be renting this on some point when i finish what im playing currently.

Odyssey is a must have game for me. Wolfenstein looks great and one I’d like to get. Origins looks very good but I can wait and get that one sometime later on.
