@Coolyfett: It won’t stop the Labo VR from being a pile of crap like Labo was. The whole thing is trash and isn’t a real VR headset like the Oculus, Vive, and PSVR are and it shouldn’t be compared to those headsets in any way. Its competition is Google Cardboard.
damage control.
if people have more fun with it and would rather buy labo than psvr. then who cares how expensive and immersive pc vr and even psvr is?
if labo vr sells more then that means the public has spoken and they prefer something simple like labo vr than pc or psvr at this point in VR's life.
labo VR being the best selling vr would speak volumes about vr direction and what they need to do going forward.
What damage control? It has a higher chance of flopping than anything else considering it's not the first device of its kind, it's total crap, and Labo was a monumental flop.
You're just doing wishful thinking here hoping it succeeds. Nothing we've seen from it suggests it will be a success at all. Nintendo failed last time they tried VR and they failed last time they tried Labo, the public has already rejected Labo once. What makes you think they won't reject it again? I predict it will flop hard and you will go into hiding just like your kind did when Labo flopped the last time, and you will pretend you never hyped this turd.

Nintendo Labo Reportedly Fails To Extend Switch Console’s Market Life

Looks like Nintendo’s gimmicky cardboard accessory for the Switch console is a failure.A report fresh from Japan says Nintendo Labo did not spark Switch sales contrary to what the video game company initially hoped.
Nikkei Asian Review reported Wednesday that sales of the Nintendo Switch console are starting to slow down despite the launch of the Nintendo Labo gaming and construction platform in April. The cardboard accessory kit was expected to revive consumer interest in Nintendo’s hybrid of a console, but that is clearly not the case here.
Nintendo has already posted its second quarter report. In spite of an 88 percent jump in its quarterly operating profit, it is evident that its Labo platform has failed to prolong the market life of the Switch console.
It is worth noting that the Switch started with a bang by helping Nintendo bounce back from the Wii U fiasco. However, the company only sold a total of 1.88 million units for the April-June period. This is 1.97 million units lower than its sales a year earlier. Nonetheless, the Japanese video game giant recorded $272.6 million for the quarter ending on June 30. This means the company has seen a 9.1 percent increase in its overall performance.
@MonsieurX: “? B..bu...bu...but Japan!” the butthurt cry of Sheep too salty to admit Trashbo flopped hard.
? What use is Japan when it sells 90,000 units there and flops everywhere else? It flopped so hard it didn’t even show up in PAL charts lol. At that rate it will catch up to the PSVR in 2348 lol.
