Super Paper Mario Reviewed!!! (IGN)

Sounds like they didn't quite get the balance of RPG with Platformer quite right. Text is OK when a game is RPG paced but having to stop and read for long periods after you just had a frenetic platforming session I could see being irritating.

Is SPM hyped AAA here? GS socres are the only thing that matter but for an early sign of a AA game...Sheep clearly are about to get owned pretty bad.Downplays

It won't be that bad of ownage.  Sheep will be happy to just get a title above a 8.5.  Also, only 2/3 of the sheep community are hyping it AAA, and some of them hype it that just because the last two got AAA. 

So if this game scores AA, dont expect the Nintendo community to really care that much.  This isn't Twilight Princess.

Honestly guys it got a 8.9 if the text was actually THAT BAD it would have scored a hell of a lot lower.  Matt was listing off things that you might not like and that was one of them.

1up reviews consist of practically a paragraph or two and for some reason they always seem like they havent even played the game (Like you said).  When a reviewer give off a aura of I might not of actually played the game then you know they are bad.

Super paper mario is a great game but I won't play it with the wii-mote. I hope it come to the gamecube imo it looks like a gamecube game. ChiChiMonKilla

Well its not a gamecube game because its never coming out for the cube.   Also Super paper mario looks the way it does because of its art direction.  Go troll elsewhere.

I was hoping I'd be long gone on vacation before this one came out. Oh well, Guess I'll just have to endure fanboys on one side going "So What? Gamespot's score is all that matters" and fanboys on the other side going "SPM = Super Flop"

8.9 seems just about in the right area for this game. I'll have to make sure to check out the gamespot score when I get back

I've always hyped this game AA, and from the sound of this review, there's nothing to keep me from getting it.

BTW, did anyone else notice how Matt C, when mentioning the Pixl fairies, said he didnt want to mention more than he did cause he didnt want to spoil....and on the next page was a screenshot showing Pixls that he did not mention before? I found that amusing

ign overrating another Wii game. Its not an average, but we use the gameplay card to boost the Wii scores. If thats going to be the case all the time. How the hell can you justify $250 for a controller, if the performances are worst then the GC. ps3-nikita

Thankfully the Wii owners only waste $250 unlike the PS3 owners who pay $600 with an even worse console.
