How about someone saying it is best because the have the most fun playing it out of all fighting games?

The weakest argument in System Wars. Hide behind the fun factor when in doubt. It's your hobby of course it will be fun.Â

I thought it was well known that you would need a GC controller.eddy_of_york
The game designer ti=old you to hang on to your GCN controller because you may be able to USE them, not because you NEED them.
If you needed them, then the game would had to be bundled with a Gamecube controller.
[QUOTE="cakeorrdeath"][QUOTE="SmoothMoved"]Look this is stupid . Im not going to argue with sheeps . Were never going to get anywhere . All im saying is that when I bought my wii I was hoping for something new . I wasent expecting To be using every single button on the remote like I used to do with my cube .

Does every game have to use motion controlls for you to be happy?
That is I would of thought the hole point of the Wii, the motion sensing controls, without it there is nothing else that makes the wii stand out.. So games without the motion sensing make the wii a GC 1.5 in other words.
I thought the games were supposed to make a system stand out :?Â
Didn't they tell us not to throw away our Cube controllers for a reason?t2waveHow else would you play Metroid Prime 1 + 2?
The Wii-mote - only controls can't work.Smash Bros. needs the effectiveness of the analogue stick, and the D-Pad just can't suffice. We all know Brawl will use the Gamecube controller, but it obviously needs to use the Nunchuck attachment as well, since its the most-used peripheral and basically everyone who owns a Wii has one.I believe that the Nunchuck has just enough buttons that you can map out the GC controls from Melee to the Wii-mote and Nunchuck (without even having to use 1 and 2 buttons or motion sensing). And a Classic Controller option would also be nice.
As for motion sensing,I'm still torn between if they should use it or not,but hopefully they can implement it.

Actually Super Smash Bros. works far better on a D-Pad than an analouge stick. The D-pad is far more precise.

Clearly, a lot can (and does) change in a year. We'll have to see.

nor for smash bros its not. not even close. the D-pad is only more precise for up down left and right. the anolouge stick is more precise for 360 degree cotrol which you absolutly must have to play smash well. not only that with a D-pad instead of an anolouge stick tilts would be the bigest pain in the ass on the planet because you cant tilt a D-pad now can you? so they would end up being slower than smash moves and you would have to be wakling? dasshing wouldnt work correctly. it just wouldnt happen. I promise you having to use a D-pad without a complete reworking and redesign which would completely change the game would be an absolute disaster.[QUOTE="Caviglia"]I think it is pretty certain the nunchuck will be used.Willy105
I doubt it. Smash Bros. is not a game where a nunchuck seems to fit.
I would think an analogue stick and two extra buttons would work very nicely thank-you. I can't imagine moving a character with the d-pad, nor can I envisage Nintendo asking customers to purchase a classic controller or GC pad.
