Well, Halo 3 delivered on the hype, to the best of my knowledge... but you are right, that is a good point. The one game that comes to mind is Haze on PS3. Decent, if unspectacular game. It was absolutely destroyed by the hype. It just makes me wonder what would happen if MW2 fails critically...

Please tell me what Stock Arcade Sticks come with Full Sanwa Parts outside of the TE? Oh wait just the HRAP SA sticks and those aren't always available. Bottom line any stick you buy people take out the parts and put in the sanwa/semitsu parts. Madcatz actually provides you a stick where you don't. One that is an exact replica of the arcade cabinet.

COD4 was great, COD5 was the same, COD6 will also be the same. This franchise will be the new guitar hero if they crank these games out once a year. I will probably get it to play with my buddies, but i can understand why some will not be getting this game. It doesn't look all that great.

For your information I own a SE stick and I fully know how well it is made.. which isn't very good. I replaced all the parts with swansa parts like the above poster said and it's now a good stick. Now beyond that my original post was saying madcatz is cheap, now to the link I posted there this is EXACTLY what was said "The folks at Mad Catz are very much aware of the fact that gamers view their company's product and third party accessories in general as cheap, low quality knock offs." Please explain to me what you didn't understand here? This was before the SF4 sticks, which is why I said it's general knowledge that madcatz is cheap, because you have ONE I MEAN ONE good stick doesn't suddenly make you lose years of rep.. are you silly or something? Now on to the SE stick, it was extremely faulty on launch and had tons of problems, these were addressed but it doesn't change the fact it's still using very cheap parts and they should be replaced reguardless. As for the TE stick, I already said it was good I don't see how you can see passed such a long time of mediocrity when they make one high quality stick.

Yeah... just because they make a good arcade stick doesn't mean they make other quality products... and really, all these extra accessories are completely unneeded for a shooter. Fighters are meant to be played with an arcade stick, shooters are meant to be played with either a M+KB or gamepad.

Everyone has the capability to make good products, some are notorious for terrible products like microsofts xbox 360 and regular xbox.. cheap and unreliable.. compared to nintedo's wii and Gamecube.. which basically had no major faults, do you think I'm going to overlook the headache I got from microsoft being cheap? Do you think I'm not going to wait to see if the new xbox's hardware is good before purchasing it? Because if you didn't know.. I am. After disc read errors with the original xbox and RROD AND disc read with the new one, I'm pretty much satisfied enough to call microsoft's hardware terrible and cheap along with madcatz. I'm not buying any accesories anymore, not after the Wii. I bought the Wii zapper, used it once, and now its sitting there collecting dust.

Facts of the matter is this. Madcatz put out a quality product, top of the line, and the best in the world as far as stock goes. The past doesn't change that. You can spout reputation and past all you want. Doesn't change the fact that they released an incredible product. To say that they aren't capable of producing another product is not a fact.
