Yeah. I get it. "Best On" and all of that jazz. Still does not take away from the fact that the PC is losing it's exclusives to the Xbox 360 at an alarming rate.TekkenMaster606
Good. Start with one of their strong arguments, don't offer any evidence to disprove it, pretend it's no big deal.
Crysis sold less than 100K.TekkenMaster606
Yeah, when a game that developers repeteadly state won't be coming to consoles sells less than 100k in NPD retail....
Well developers just ignore the global market where it's topping charts, the digital distribution industry and the difficulty in porting a game as advanced as Crysis and go straight ahead to a console version.
Since the NPD retail sales for one week were low, we should just assume Crysis is multiplat.
At least Unreal Tournament 3 has console sales to fall back on. TekkenMaster606
Good, mention something that was always a multiplat, pretend it's a part of your argument about exclusives.
While The Witcher isn't confirmed and we can dance around assumptions and technicalities all day the fact that a rumor exists should tell you something.TekkenMaster606
True, when exclusivity rumours surface, even if the company CDProjekt has said The Witcher won't come to consoles, it's bound to be true. We'll soon be seeing Mass Effect, FF13 and MGS4 going multiplat I guess.
It's absolute suicide releasing a title outside of MMOs exclusive on the PC. Crysis, less than 100K.TekkenMaster606
I know! They've only sold 1 million copies so far! I guess it's the poor house for CDProjekt.
What a joke. Get used to it hermits. We look forward to more years of listening to your elitist whining about how consoles are dumbing down and ruining your games. The fact is, we're making the developers some real revenue and no amount of crying will change that. TekkenMaster606
Yep, compared to the mighty userbases of consoles that run into the tens of millions, the PC can only offer a measly 200 million global users.
Plus consoles also have all those nifty barriers to entry, licensing fees and the need to adapt development to the platform. All the PC has is Microsoft paying you money if you stick the Games for Windows logo on your box.
So essentially, you named three games, two which have no announcement for the 360, and whose developers have stated it won't happen, and one game which has long been a multiplat. Yes, the PC is losing exclusives at an alarming rate indeed.
