Surfergirl, whatever person or persons run that site, do indeed have contacts at various large studios. Not al the tips turn out to be true or stay that way, but its not all made up BS.
Which is why I really hope this one is not true, but has a good chance of being so. I can envision the scenario of Retro making a really fantastic fantasy adventure game, with that great art design, and then Shigeru "Mr. Casual" Miyamoto saying "You know what would make this even more Nintendo? If he rip out all of your characters and designs, and then slap Sheik or Midna into it, and change your creative world into yet another version of Hyrule. Make it so."
I read some rumors last year some people were angry and leaving Retro because of the next game Nintendo was making them work on after MP3, and that rumor seems to match with this one. I mean, would you want every idea you come up with to always have some of Nintendo's pop setting and story forced on top of it?
