[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"] Uncharted 1 is incredibly average and uneventful. But yeah 2 is a lot of fun. 3 is a let down. jg4xchamp
I'm enjoying the ride in 2 a lot. What about 3 is making everyone so disappointed. I've only played the mp (which I like)
A lot of it is straight up fatigue.I see, I'm very interested to play it now and see. I might be all Uncharted out though considering I have finished 1 and 2 now (well I am on chapter 18) in a couple of days.

I've never liked contextual platforming. In the original Uncharted, it always seemed how far Drake could jump varied from obstacle to obstacle.
hakanakumono
I've pointed that out multiple times to cows and they act like it doesn't exist.
My farm in FarmVille is so uninspired.
I unlocked all the "expand farm" upgrades, and my entire farm is crops. No buildings, no nothing. Just trees lining the very outside where I can't fit more crops. I level up so damn fast, though. I plant Super Peas every day in like 1,000 spots and gain almost a level every couple days. I'm already level 40 and I just started not too long ago.
I'm a hardcore FarmVille player.
There's no skill involved in the platforming in Uncharted, but it is still fun. If I want a challenging platformer, I'm playing Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels, the real Super Mario Bros. 2 on NES that was unreleased in America. The one released in America was actually just running on the Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic engine with Mario characters. They felt as if the real Super Mario Bros. 2 was too difficult, so they didn't let it out of Japan.

I thought Naughty Dog themselves came out, and stated that's how the game works.

Remember though, logic is a foreign language to cows. (As well as lems.) If you don't believe it, it must not be true.
Had hte best birthday ie had in a long time today.

Don't you hate that when you type something, you can actually get some parts of it messed up?nintendoboy16
I hate how when I'm typing something long and need to switch tabs my mouse pointer gravitates towards the X button for the current tab.
Playing FireRed, Emerald, Black, Diamond, and SoulSilver all at the same time. All are fantastic; you are not a true Pokemon fan if you hate a gen, especially because of a few Pokemon. 1=2=3=4=5BlabadonGen 2 is the best.

Copied and pasted from my favorite Facebook page:
Something to think about.
In 1998 Gen 1 added 151 Pokemon and established the core concepts of the series. In 2003 Gen 3 added 135 Pokemon and "reset the series" which overhauled the stat systems and battle mechanics to make a smoother and more coherent experience.
In 2011 Gen 5 added 156 Pokemon and "reboot the series" cutting off old Pokemon in the Main Story of B&W and establishing a new framework for the franchise.
Consider the fact that out of these three Generations Gen 1 and Gen 5 added only Pokemon native to their region and at the time of release were unrelated to any other Pokemon from other regions. Gen 3 is the same way but only added 2 Pokemon related to past Pokemon, which are Wynaut and Azurill. Gens 1, 3, 5 are what I like to call the "Core Generations" which provided us with entirely new frameworks to base the series on. 1 giving us the concept, 3 refining the mechanics, and 5 expanding the connectivity and reaching out to new fans.
In short, Gen 1, 3, and 5 are more similar than you may realize. Especially Gen 1 and 5 which the latter directly takes a massive influence from while adding modern concepts.
As for Gen 2 and 4, I see them as "Expansion Generations" for they added the fewest Pokemon, many of which are evolutions of previous Pokemon but the also added new methods of balance and gameplay such as Gen 2's Steel and Dark types and Gen 4's Physical/Special Split.
1 = 3 = 5
2 = 4
And all Gens are equal.

technically if you take into account world population and then percentage of girl gamers to male gamers then yes it isn't as common as you would think. Out of the girls I've ever dated only one was into video games conversely she was into DBZ which was a deal breaker. among my friends 4 of which have girl friends that dont like video games.

I dated a girl gamer in college. Can't say it was anything special.
I've got a moral/ethical question for you folks considering piracy.
Would you guys say it is still pirating if you buy a Wii game, but not the Wii itself, and play it on PC? Like I'm thinking of just buying some of the Wii games I've missed and playing them via PC.
That's not pirating. You still paid for the license to play that game. Where you play it doesn't matter.
I'm pretty sure you can download and play ROMs as long as you legally own an original copy of the game. I'm 100% sure though. Might want to be careful talking about it on GS, might breach the TOU.I've got a moral/ethical question for you folks considering piracy.

Might want to be careful talking about it on GS, might breach the TOU. yeah, thats typically the case. also i think the copy of the game is technically supposed to be backed up from your actual game, not one you find on the net. its just making a backup, which you are always allowed to do.I've got a moral/ethical question for you folks considering piracy.

My ex-girlfriend had a friend who was a big time gamer. She played more games than even I did. She was obsessed with games like Final Fantasy XI, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy, and even fighting games which she was actually really good at and beat me quite often. I've never met a girl that played more games than her, and she's actually not that bad looking. I have a picture of her and I from about 6 or 7 years ago.
