Just set up my new laptop, and to my great joy, it came with pre-installed Windows 8.

This is the first time I'm face to face with that thing, and I must say, it's a stuff right out of my worst nightmares. It looked bad in pics, bad enough to make me stay away, but now when I actually have it in front of me, it's far worse than I could've imagined. Whoever came up with it should be skinned alive, dipped in honey, and thrown in a termite nest.

I'd format it immediately, switch to Win 7, but it's 4 AM, will save it for later.
