That's Stadium (which had two games by the way), not Colosseum. If there isnt a new SW Lounge thread tomorrow (by my +10:00 GMT time) THE ALREADY ORPHANED KITTEN PICTURED BELOW WILL DIE.

Yeah, u mad.
My Stadium is somewhere in the garage among the mass of boxes that are in there. Hell, I don't know if I still even have it. Once it stops looking like WWII happened in there, I'll probably decide to dig for it.

Right now, it's definitely Black and White. It may just be me, but I really like how the combat feels this time around, namely with the in-battle stat buffs and nerfs. It feels like something actually happens when one of your stats goes up or down. They gave it more impact this time around.
I could probably write a paper about why it is so good. Long story short, everything feels right, even from the beginning since you jump right into the game. If you need a Pokemon game, this is THE game to get. If you need another one after B&W, you can get SoulSilver afterwards.
As for the version differences, here is a spoiler-free TL|DR version:

Nope. At that time, I had the Pikachu Tamagotchi which was most likely superior in every way.

I have a question, whats the whole spiel with the generational and regional areas in the games. I haven't played a pokemon game in 10 years so excuse my ignorance. Like i've been doing research on Soul Silver, and theres both the kanto and jhoto regions in the game?Glitchspot strikes again. Man I swear this is one of the most unstable forums I been on.

I don't know if this is the same thing but for a little while earlier today I couldn't check PMs or view any threads. Said something about invalid error I think?
Noooooo only one more chapter for Kekkaishi. Hopefully the ending won't be rush, through I feel this series is ending a tad too soon.

Was thinking about checking out one of the DS Pokemon games myself, just to see what all the commotion is about. Might pick up the White version in the near future. No rush though, since every store I go to is absolutely loaded with copies.

Like i've been doing research on Soul Silver, and theres both the kanto and jhoto regions in the game?Basically, it's how we label the area, Pokemon, cities and such instead of using numbers. Each new Pokemon game will take place in a new region. That's how they separate new Pokemon without mixing them into the others.
Different Pokemon come from different regions. For example, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmander are Kanto Pokemon. Totodile, Chikorita, and Cyndaquil are Johto Pokemon. Mudkip, Torchic, and Treeko are Hoenn Pokemon. Piplup, Turtwig, and Torchic are Sinnoh Pokemon. Oshawott, Tepig, and Snivy are Unova Pokemon. They are all starters in their corresponding game, or rather who you can choose as your first Pokemon in each game. Once you play the games, you will be able to tell a Sinnoh Pokemon from a Hoenn Pokemon or tell a city in a region from another.
Some Pokemon games gives you access to two regions at once. For example, HeartGold and SoulSilver (remakes of the original gameboy games). You start out in the Johto region and play the game normally. After defeating the elite four and the champion in the area, you gain access to the Kanto region where you can catch the Kanto based Pokemon. In a way, it's like having two Pokemon games in one. HG and SS had 16 badges to collect instead of the traditional 8.

If you've ever like Pokemon in the past, even if it was just the TV show or card games, this is the game to have.

Never watched the show and never played the card game. =P
I'm into all kinds of role playing games though, so I'm sure I'll find some enjoyment in the game.

I dunno. Accent Core, Third Strike, Garou, KoF 2002, Galaxy Fight, and maybe some Waku Waku 7.
Mostly improving my scrubtastic skills in the first two, and actually trying to learn the rest.
Slayer, Makoto, Freeman, Kyo/K'/Vanessa, Roomi, and I dunno.

There's a PC version of Accent Core? :shock:No, but there are some methods that allow for the PC to read PS2 discs. And I will probably just do the PC version of #RL . I think I just said Accent Core because I don't like #RL Slayer. :P
I wouldn't need to go so far out of my way for some things If i had a PS2 arcade stick. Oh well, $150 to go for that.

One of my main reasons for looking in to some of the older fighting games, is that sprite work is just really good looking.
I also came across an older sort of series, two games called aura buster/asura blade that look a lot like the darkstalker games.
