I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it, if Ninja Theory didn't OBVIOUSLY have the wrong idea about the series.

Dante was made to be a cool character, without having to lean on Smoking or Drinking. He would be cool because of atitude and over the top of action. Ninja Theory made him smoke, and they have said, about Bayonetta, "I think it's caricatured and over-the-top and very 'Japanesey,' and for that absurd style it does that really well, but that's not what I want." which means he has no interest in keeping DmC cool in the way at least 3 and 4 do it. He wants it to be "cool" in appearance, not in how the game is played. Having DMC NOT over the top is doing it wrong.

Plus, Ninja Theory made Ninja theory games, no one wants that for something Like Devil May Care.

Also, DMC 3 is an origins story, and I'm sure DmC will only add more plot holes.

I can't stand GG for the ps1. Maybe I'd like it better If I tried it with an arcade stick, but I just dreaded it.

Try any of the GGXX series. Prefereably Slash, or Accecnt Core. More so Accent Core.

It's depth and freedom, realized in gaming format.

It's not only the look for me, it's the gameplay as well... ninja theory makes some cinematic but very shallow games... so I'm kinda worried.
