people getting modded during arguments with me was frustrating since it was usually another mod stepping in and taking action which effectively ended whatever argument i was having and enjoying.

i had nothing to do with the old rules. they were too strict and i complained about them numerous times.

people argued with me all the time and most didn't get modded. it was just the ones who went too far, lost their cool, and started breaking the rules that got in trouble. we have a lot of mods and they've even commented in this thread that i was blamed for things i didn't do.
