I currently have a ps3 and i'm considering a360. I cant decide if i should get a 360 or just stick with the ps3. They both have a few exclusives i'd like to play but 85% of the games i like are multiplatform. The ps3 would be fine except that i dont like the controller (its too small for my taste) and some of the multiplatform games are better on the 360. I'm kind of at a crossroads because if i decide to get a 360 then that will be the one i get the multi's on and the ps3 would be for exclusives. I really want to get red dead redemption but i'm holding out until i can make my mind to either get a 360 or just stick with the ps3.

You picked the wrong place to get advice. I would say that you should just follow your taste.

Buy a 360. Since you want buying advice, buy a new toaster too.

Well it sounds to me like you want to buy a 360. You cant go wrong with buying one, its a great console that offers alot of content.

If you really feel that way then get a 360. They "seem" to be more stable now and if you don't mind paying for XBL, then why not.

That said if you want to play RDR getting the PS3 version probably isn't going to make much of a difference. It doesn't look THAT bad.

If you got the money, go for it, the more consoles the better.

Get the XBox 360. The newer systems now have Jasper board in them, so the RRoD issue it less then 8% chance. I get all my multiplats on my XBox 360 and all the PS3 exclusives that are worth getting. This way you have the best of both worlds.

I was "this" close to getting a 360, then i heard you have to pay to play online and ps3 was free. My decision was pretty clear after that lol. Then someone told me you pay to keep cheaters offline. I thought, "Uh-huh. Lame excuse MS, ill still stick with free". And since i never came across a ps3 cheater yet, i dont regret it.

I have both of them and PSN is nothing compared to Xbox Live. I especially hate how slow downloads are (but extremely fast on my PC and Xbox) and that you have to install demos. I still prefer the 360 over the PS3, but I don't think that it's worth it just to get the multiplatform games on the 360. They're not THAT much better. If you like any of the 360 exclusive games and will play on Live, then you should most definitely go for it.
