In this thread, try to pretend you live in the '90s and are trying to argue over whether N64 or PS1 or (of course) the PC is better. For me it would probably be Nintendo 64, because I am still playing it.

oops didnt mean to include zelda I added the platforming part in there after i wrote all that, but my point is I can think of a lot more casual 64 games then PS ones

as it is the 90's, only time will tell aboot the winner/loser of this generation. What I will say is the PS1 couldn't come close to games like Zelda OoT/Goldeneye 007/Perfect Dark etc. More popular and "better" are two different things, the N64 is by far the better machine, I think the look of the N64 controller scares people away though- regardless of how great it works for 3D games.

And even in the RTS department, Command and Conquer is more than enough to match Starcraft.

I love JRPGs, so I definitely prefer the PS1. Also was (and still am) a big fan of MGS, Castlevania, and Gran Turismo.

Gran Turismo.

Gran Turismo has the most realistic physics ever.

The Graphics are the most photorealistic on any console and the presentation is awesome.

I choose PS1.
