System Wars Awards 2010... THE RESULTS

Well SW, we've reached the end of another SWA and despite some slight problems along the way, I think it's been a good one. It's nice to reach the end of every year (I know it's October but technicalities) and praise those users who have done enough in the eyes of SWers to be acknowledged for one of the many System War Awards. If you didn't win something this year, don't be disheartened, we hold the SWAs every year and maybe next year, you could be in this list. Also, it's only a fun community project so it's not the end of the world if you're not in this list :P.

This year we've also done something different. We have acknowledged more than one user for each award as in many of the awards the amount of votes were very close so we feel that more than one user should be acknowledged for certain awards so for some awards you'll see 1st, 2nd places and in some cases, ties.

Anyway, enough chit-chat. I hope you guys have enjoyed the awards as much as I have and for the moment you've all been waiting for... The results.

Yeah, I guessed as much. Anyways, congrats to all those that won whatever this contest was about. Are the winners gonna get a reward or something? Some kind of e-trophy for their hard work?

Firstly, I want to congratulate all of the winners and those who receieved any vote(s). There are a myriad of deserving people who were recognized, as well as those who were not.

Now to the new "SW King", champ: Way to go man :). It seems like it evolved into a "get out the vote" deal between you and Ty, one in which your supporters did a greater job in executing within the alloted time. Looks like it was a close one. What were the final results?

I won't call you guys "candidates", because to my knowledge, neither of you annuonced your candidacy :P. You're both popular (and infamous) dudes who both had great support! And shout out to all of the other folks who received votes in this category.

As Ty's campaign manager, I wish we had the time we thought we had. We had a bunch of votes lined-up! :P But that's the way it is, and champ is a deserving winner!

Though I sported that sig more than Treal (he wore it for a very short while, but it was taken off by TinyPic.com due to bandwidth issues), he did all of the artwork and animations--I wrote it :P.

When people voted for Treal, I guess they could consider his MGS4-Snake-Energy-HYPE sig or the Kratos-Bayonetta sig. I love 'em both!

Nice! Congrats everyone. Champ winning king is awesome, but what's even better is my Halo Reach HYPE Thread winning 8). Since my award is more prestigious than his, I'll call him King Chump from now on :P. I'm surprised though. I'm guessing since Halo is the most popular game right now. I thought NAPK1NS or Riku would win. I put hard work into it so I'm glad its recognized :).

EVE won who should be mod! Hell yeah! Sorry other mods, my bro would be a better mod than you (if he ever decides to do so in the future) :P. As if there's a competition between mods hehe.

Lastly, I would like to say a word for those who I wasn't able to vote to and who weren't recognized. There are many buddies I have on Gamespot and many people I don't know too well who deserve some type of award. To yall I say, "You're still in my heart and sitting in my avatar :P".
