Honestly, I was a bit surprised that I got votes in such a variety of areas, from best username (whatever it is you're smoking, I want some of that =P) to user who should be a mod, and even King (congrats champ)! Really, it is pretty touching. Also lol, I did the tallies for the Overlord of Gifs, and Harlock won by a landslide. It seems like I still have a lot more to learn about gif-making! Congrats dude, you earned it. *shakes hand*

I think we should all give a hand to Ninja for putting this event together and being able to keep a cool head when tensions were high. The mods were great by letting us put this together and making sure things ran as smoothly as possible (both in preparation of the event and during the Awards themselves). I'd also like to give a special shoutout to tagyhag, Fabz_95, and Slashkice for really coming through with the counting. You guys are great!

Anyways, I look forward to doing this again next year! =) Now, time to celebrate!

I just want to congrat all the winners! :P (I shortened the list a bit, as it was too and I wanted to highlight some winners. :P)

It's true, that while I didn't like how the thread was locked so quickly as there was a misunderstanding on the moderator's part (24 hours suddenly became 12, the OP Ninja explained later about the confusion in the SWA Lounge thread) as I got messages from voters/folks that didn't get to participate, including myself, as my post was deleted. :(

It's not a big deal since we are all people connected on a forum, and people will be people. I think sometimes internet drama is way to srs for people, but I recommend just kicking back and playing frisbee in a park when that happens. Sometimes, during a difficult situation a person will show their character in their actions. It matters not as this is all just the human experience. :P Best to learn from encounters like that and improve. For those that were lucky enough to participate this year, thanks for participating, and I do appreciate any votes for me as well.

I am happy to see people read my posts! I love you guys!

I wish more SW posters go to be involved, and I do wish more categories were for folks....maybe next year.
