System wars has become so civil......

So I was a raging system warrior back in the days....like in the sixth generation, and I used to remember the threads were a crap shoot of insults, name calling and even personal threats. Now I see people engaging in actual civil discussions about systems lol, so my question is when did system wars become so civil?

Have you been living under a rock? There's an epidemic of mad cow disease going around here.

The whole site got a major overhaul years and years back that got rid of a lot of what people loved. Members left in droves and the rules changed making this website PG rated.

They even fucking censor us now!

There was a short time just within the last couple of years when there was a sticky saying all bets are off. We could call each other anything, curse, anything. It went away and back to what you see now not long ago.

A lot of that still goes on. I think you just see more civility between users because the rest of the site is dead and those of us who hate the fanboy shit have no where else to go.

@GoldenElementXL: Wow things really did change, back then i was a cow who got my ass handed to me during the launch of the PS3 by all lemmings and such, and we used to be a minority if I remeber correctly. So they censor this shit now....makes sense.

It's like the whole gaming media and industry are shilling for MS. Developers are gimping PS4 version to not humiliate Xbone. NPD is now going on witchhunts against anyone leaking sales #s when there was no push for censorship back when the 360 was dominating the PS3. GameSpot and other media sites are trying to make it difficult for cows to attack lemmings when we saw no such restraint when the 360 was winning last gen. The amount of Xbone shilling is just disgusting.

Trust me, we'd be better off without the Xbox brand.
