I dont post at giant bomb, because everyone can use bad language and be pricks,so they are all the time, I hate being moderated, lol I should be a level 40 by now, but people using bad words and putting people down for the hell of it, gets really old. There needs to be a balance

The civility was all well and good, but it really didn't live up to what "System Wars" should be. Some rules may be a little too much, but some are a nice change.
1) Censor bypassing is a thing of the past too, right? The auto-censoring thing will still work, but if I wanted to say "shut the f*** up, PBSnipes" I no longer have to worry about blocking out all the right letters?
2) How much discretion do the mods have in terms of the hate speech thing? Some of those examples are pretty tame in terms of joking around with friends or being generally dismissive (if d***ish) towards someone, so would saying something like "I hope you get cancerAIDS (the worst of all forum-transmitted diseases)" get you modded and/or the FBI kicking down your door regardless of context, or are mods going to be able to decide "these guys are obviously joking around/blowing off steam" and only worry about the really blatant, "this guy could really be serious" stuff?

Thats because many people posted here for news and not this "arguing over systems" nonsense Sorry but I think cyberbullying is a SERIOUS issue and I thought at the very least gamespot was one who supported the prevention of this but I am clearly wrong they rather care that the 13-15 year old crowd can insult people now There were plenty of forums for immature bullying ign being one of them

The problem was never the civility the problem was the ridiculous amount of discretion a moderator had when interpreting the rules
