I have to say, while I'm disappointed, there were more people whom paticiapted properly than the idiots that destroyed it. If this is ever done again it should be zero discussion allowed, vote then GTFO and any post containing anything that isn't a vote is deleted. The thread creator is a mod who simply posts the organizers opening and is dedicated for that week to deleting all crap posts. This was a sad (yet incredibly funny) display. A mark on SW as a community where the best posters mad asshooles of themselves. (but it was funny to read) It was no "one" person's fault.

EDIT: and just to be clear, i include myself in the latter group in relation to the first outbreak of 'drama'. I allowed myself to be infuriated and antagonized by what i was reading, and responded to express that. I shouldn't have. After the thread was locked and everyone was under clear guidance to just let it go however, there's really no excuse for a further THREE lockings after repeated reminders to just ignore the troll-bait and leave it be from myself, the mods, and others.

Thanks to stupidity by gamespot staff in changing the TOU to the garbage that is before us today there was a lot less moddable material but a lot of that thread surpassed insults and prodding and went straight into hate speech which is not allowed by SW. It is so garbage that SW has been reduced to a pile of trash defended by the TOU now. I would rather take all the extra moddings I would have under the old TOU then deal with this new crap. The lounge is the only thing that keeps me here now.
