So Batman was a really good movie. Can't decide if that movie, or the Avengers is better.

mitu123

I found TDKR to be better.

I did too. The the overall conflict of the movie does hit it's stride midway through and stays there till the last 45 minutes.

I've yet to see either

Every time I was gonna go see The Avengers, i'd end up going to the bar with buds :P

Going to see Batman on Tue/Wed with my dad and bro, though... Going to the bar will be out of the question

I'm struggling to stick with Dragon's Dogma... I keep moving away from it. Still, it's not too bad :P

You control the dream, but like Inception, there are limits to what you can do without waking yourself up.

I wanted to try it, but I barely remember any of my normal dreams.

Like 9/10 I completely forget.

Your conscious brain is engaged during a lucid dream, so it's easier to remember.

It's apparently not that hard to learn(assuming you can do it) but I actually remember someone saying it was dangerous.

How would it be dangerous?

Oh right - if you die in your lucid dream, you die irl. :|

I often lucid dream without intending to when I go back to sleep after waking up on a weekend. Make the transition between sleep and waking less sudden and you should have an easier time remembering your dreams (alarm clocks = bad).

It just happens naturally for me, so I can't help you. But I can say it happens much more frequently if I sleep longer than recommended.

Sleep paralysis has happened to me a couple times. It's scary as hell but only lasts a few minutes. It's not caused by lucid dreaming to my knowledge, so you don't worry. Lucid dreaming is as dangerous as dreaming.

If I ever manage to do it I'll lucid dream about having sex with your mother.

I'm the Lucid guy Lundy was talking about.

There are many ways to lucid dream (99% of them just lead to sleep par. lol) but I find the safest and easiest way to do this(requires some light) is:

Grab a marker. Draw one dash on the back of each of your hands.

Go to bed. every five minutes sit up and check your hands. If they have the markings go back to bed and try it again. Do this until you don't see the marks, this let's you know that you're no longer awake and are just dreaming. Naturally, you'll wake up once you realize this. It takes practice, but eventually, you'll be able to lucid dream.

For realz? So you can't get yourself to dream about having sex?

What about zombies?

Or flying?

This is starting to sound lame.

Flying works. You are almost guarunteed to wake up quickly if you try to have sex, though. Also, there's restrictions. Your subconscious still has partial control of the dream.I often have restricted movement, like I'm running in mud up to my torso. There was this period in my life where I kept finding myself lucid in nightmares and I just forced myself awake. Then again, I haven't trained to do this, so maybe you gain control with practice.

Anyway I'm one of those people who take forever to go to sleep.

I still haven't seen TDKR but I think I might be next weekend with my dad.

Also I restarted GTA IV and found it to be better than I remembered. Still have some problems driving my car but not as much as before. Enjoying it so far.

Is this is the best best to get a PS3 controller onto a PC.
