Downloading the RE6 demo, time to be disappointed.

playing new vegas on my pc, im getting red ! in the saloon after the doctor patches you up. not sure whats the problem and I dont know how to fix it. the game is also ctd after i exit the game. bethesda should scrap the gamebryo and really need to get bug testers. doesnt make sense not to have better better bug testers these days. though i dont remember oblivion being a pain in the ass

Sounds a bit like this, though I'm not quite sure how you'd be affected by it so early in the game.
Whatever the case, I suppose console commands would be handy.
