9-5, less depending on country. Obviously some jobs have more or less hrs.

When I worked in Belfast, if I left for work the same time as I do here in the US (7:15 am) the streets would have been empty!

Yea, jobs vary everywhere as I said. In the UK the standard is 9-5 5 days a week, its less in France and other southern countries. The same goes for vacation, every job varies. At my last one in the UK we got 10 days of sick leave (no questions asked, more than that you had to have a talk with a senior position, but that was a formality), 6 for personal days on top of vacation and most people used them as vacation days. We had 20 days vacation plus some mandatory days (new years, xmas, easter, i think 4 bank holidays, the 12th of july and Paddy's day)

its a sw company that does train dispatching systems. its a pretty cool place to work, actually.

even beyond the days off and stuff, i like it. when i'm in the office, i can wear jeans/tennis shoes. just gotta wear a dress-ish shirt. usually a polo or button down. when they send me to a customer site, they pay for everything, including all the alcohol i can drink( :D ). really can't complain, considering i don't dread going into work every day like most people.

Halloween is just an excuse for the kids to get sweets.They dont care about its origins or its meaning its just an excuse for the spoilt kids to get what they want.

Unlike sniper here I dont hate it.I just dont celebrate it.If my kids (lol if i get any in teh futre) want to celebrate halloween i will just give them sweets myself instead oh and also pizza.

My chinese fred was mistaken for PSY when he actually dressed up as desmond :lol: well thats what he told me

ofcourse i have. and it was awesome.

Well then Halloween was an awesome holiday as a kid. It was the biggest get out jail free card when it came to candy.

Normal days: You can't have any, you're gonna get fat or get cavities

Halloween: Here is 100 snickers.

It was wonderful, plus you get to dress up as stuff, school was less lame on Halloween. And as you get older it's another excuse to party and broads to be slutty. It's a wonderful holiday.
