It is cold, but it's no biggie. Winter there doesn't suck. Where I live now winter means nasty smog inversions, rain, dirty slush everywhere, and piercing chill.

In Alaska it might get to -40*F, but it is a winter wonderland. You have to bundle up extra, but that's the life, and you get used to it.

Also, I'm not buying any games until my backlog is done which might be a while. I've played Killing Floor for over 40 hours in the last two weeks:oops:

Yeah, it's easy. It was my first build and nothing went wrong. :)

Just be careful with delicate parts such as the motherboard, CPU, GPU and RAM. Try to handle them by the sides if possible (but never touch the CPU socket!). Take your time when building, don't rush, double check things, check the manual and don't overtighten the screws.

Next thing to be careful of is the wiring. Just make sure you connect things in the right place. Just refer the manual for the motherboard, it'll explain everything.

*Edit* Oh and don't forget the thermal paste for the CPU.

Not sure what you mean by aftermarket, but no, thermal paste isn't usually pre-applied on the CPU. Stock cooling fans that comes with the CPU does have it pre-applied. If you are using your own cooling fan that you bought separately (3rd party), then you'll need to apply the thermal paste.

Okay!That thing I saw yesterday hitting the US East Coast in 2 weeks wasn't orignally a tropical/subtropical cyclone but it's still dangerous if it does hit that area.
