I looooooooooved Jedi Outcast. I played it so much last gen. I bought the Jedi Knight pack from Steam a little while ago because of the awesomeness of that one game. Unfortunately Dark Forces 2 doesn't work, and Jedi Outcast would freeze up if too many people were on my screen (thankfully I could play through the whole game, just with tons of quick saving) :P

I really hope Jedi Academy works flawlessly. I've got a handful of old, pre-2005 games on Steam that are just buggy, or downright unplayable. I had decided to never buy an old game from Steam ever again probably a year and a half ago, but then bought Commandos 2 to play with my brother against my better judgement :P

Who knows? It might just be computer configurations given the games are so old that leads to a lot of incompatibility sometimes, but often enough I've tried to solve some issues with my older games, and found that the reason they don't work properly has to do with running through Steam itself. That isn't to say people haven't made patches to fix issues, but some games I can't find anything.

• Max Payne 1 doesn't play all sounds, and some come out incorrect
• Beyond Good & Evil graphical artifacts, graphical artifacts everywhere (plus screen flickering). I still beat it though.
• Freedom Force will occasionally freeze up at the end of missions before I can save (fixable)
• Deus Ex rainbow world (fixable)
• Dark Forces 2 rainbow world x 10,000
• Commandos 2 is just incredibly bright yellow, and I can't see anything

Yah, the rise of GOG coincided with me no longer buying old games from Steam. GOG is awesome. Unfortunately they don't have Star Wars games yet.
