I already bought the 3DS version on sale for $15. :P

I might just hold off because the presentation of DD is so vastly superior to the DS games. I'm not against playing iOS/Android games, but I generally don't enjoy lugging around my iPad and I value my Note 3's battery way too much to play games on it.

I think I'm going to try my K-On game that I imported for the ps3. Too bad sweenix isn't here for me to tell him.

And about Dual Destinies, going off memory, you'll mainly need to have played AA4 since Apollo one's of the playable character and 'cause if you haven't, you're gonna be lost about the whole Phoenix having a teenaged daughter thing in the eight years between AA3 and AA5. Beyond that, everything but AA3 (Yes, that means AAI and the unlocalized AAI2) is briefly referenced.

DA Inquisition is yet another buggy release on PC. Gamers complained about AC Unity, why aren't they complaining about DA I then? Cutscenes are locked at 30 fps. Hitching/freezing and subsequent audio errors on all platforms, dx11 crashes on PC, controller focused interface...

Terrible. I thought this game would be great because no one was complaining and the reviews were good.

Last I checked, people are complaining about the DRM affecting performance more than anything (or am I thinking of another game?). 30fps cutscenes can be forgiven so long as the game itself is 60fps. Hitching, I thought, was present in cutscenes only. Shit crashes from time to time. No one complained about Dark Souls.

It's also not an Ubisoft game affected by disastrous Ubisoft PR.

I believe that was with Lords of the Fallen.

I'm getting terrible hitching every 20 or so seconds, in cutscenes and in gameplay. The 30 fps lock in cutscenes is super annoying because it's 1. Unnecessary and 2. Also applied in DIALOGUE, that's like half of the entire game man.

A lot of people complained their brains out when Dark Souls was ported.

Bullshit, everyone complained about Dark Souls.

Quickly checking, yes, Lords of the Fallen, though DA:I uses the same DRM, so who knows? Might solve your hitching problem in gameplay which is indeed shitty.

As for Dark Souls though, I thought most people knew what they were getting into on the controls front.

Yep, but I'm talking specifically about the controls, to which I don't recall much backlash as we got a heads-up on that front. That, and 'cause I think most knew the control scheme isn't really suited for KB/M.

Welcome to the shitty side to PC gaming, after 4 piss poor optimized games this year (CoD AW, Unity, DA3 and Watch Dogs) I'm starting to re think buying games on PC over consoles now. It's getting old pretty fast when games are released un optimized and devs are like "oh we will patch it in a week or so", if I buy a game day 1 for $60 I better get a product that isn't a fraking buggy mess

@Technoweirdo: Well, it stopped after just rebooting and disabling origin in-game. But nah, the DRM is definitely a non-issue.

It's running perfectly now. I can't tell if the cutscenes are 30 fps anymore, did they maybe patch it today? I didn't start up msi afterburner to check my fps (it's for the better), so I really couldn't tell.

Flash/Arrow crossover was a whole lot of fun. Really fun set-piece moment. Didn't reach the heights in terms of the final battle that I was hoping it would, but it looked great and beat out a large chunk of the rest of the fights on both series. Left the episode wanting to re-watch it, so that's a good sign.

Sorry had a busy day and couldn't respond sooner. Those are all monitors in that picture. No tvs.
Monitor at the top does 1680x1050, the rest do 1080.
I have a tv, but is 32 inch 720p one. Its actually a bit over from this set up. I plan to get 40 or 50 inch in the future.

As for clyde, I could take a much better picture with my phone (it had a low battery at the time), but do you honestly expect more from a vita? lol.

Differing opinions on that one, chap. I found what you call boring to be the most fun I've had on 3DS in... ever. Something about the methodical approach to spelunking and RPG just WORKED for me. But hey, thanks for sharing.

As for my current progress in PQ, I have reached the fourth labyrinth and definitely fear the possibility that there won't be a fifth or sixth labyrinth afterward. The game feels too short in that case and that makes me more than sad. Also, please don't share anything regarding existence of said fifth or sixth labyrinths. I'd rather be pleasantly surprised or utterly disappointed myself later.
