so seriously does that mean nba 2k9, nhl 2k9 and the ps3 exclusive from rockstar are gone?shahchip
yes and no i will have to say

The rockstar exclusive will go multiplat at some point(although i could see EA allowing ROckstar alot of freedom)

THe other 2 will probably release this year, but now the take 2 sports teams join EA sports I am guessing.....

The only thing concerning me in this thread is people saying that the old EA should be compared to the likes of Activision/Blizzard.

This is the same Activision that's gone for yearly or twice-yearly releases on their major franchises, puts out dozens of licensed POS games a year, has mauled some older franchises (see: Soldier of Fortune), and was suing Sony to prevent the GH instruments from being made compatible with RB after Harmonix made a patch to fix it. Yeah, they've been bad the past year or two.

It was inevitable, EA's next target is probably VALVe.

If EA ever decides to release a console it will rip the others to shreds.

Wii ripped the other consoles to shreds despite having "last gen hardware", crap games at launch, crap line-up. After that, one should think twice about "winning" in a console war.
