Tales of graces might be going to ps3??

Namco annouced a Tales of graces bundle with both the Wii and the game but could this be a sign of an import with more content in the future on another system? too many questions, First,Tales of Symphonia was released bundled with the GameCube in 2003 then was ported to ps2 with extra content the year after, Second, as everyone probably know by now before Tales of Vesperia gets released on the 360 Namco annouced a bundle with the system and the game then was ported to ps3 with extra content and now the ps3 version is the best selling Tales game so far and because of that it could be that Namco now will start making games for ps3, anyone think this might be ported to ps3 next year with extra content? it could be on 360 tho i doubt that since ToV didnt do well on the system.

As always hope not old, just wanted to share this with everyone, your thoguhts?

Is there a link for this or is it just speculation? Anyway, no its not getting ported. Team Destiny is not going to waste their time up porting. Especially when Graces will sell about as much as Vesperia PS3 and cost less to make in the process.

Does this in anyway implie that the PS3 versions will go to North America as well? :?

Namco is putting quite alot of effort into Graces and is even making a Wii to DS mini game for it and apparently making DLC for Graces.

IDK, their putting alot of Nintendo exclusive work into it, a port to the PS3 seems less and less likely.

Okay I got the message and I understand. I do doubt that it will get ported though. I am under the impression that Team Destiny will work on Nintendo Hardware and Team Symphonia will work on the PS3 (from now on :P ). The cost of the up port will probably not be worth the effort.

Gamecube port to PS2 isn't the same as Wii to PS3.

Didn't ToS get ported to PS2 only in Japan? I did NOT see any US copy of ToS PS2 in any game store.nintendoboy16

This. Plus a PS3 port would barely make financial sense for a japanese release, an american/european release? no way

in japan it could sell in the 100ks or more but in NA i couldn't see it breaking 100k and with higher dev costs

Looks good to me, chances seem likely since Namco has already done this twice, that would be great because ive yet to have the chance to play a Tales game before :)

This is the second thread about this. Really it doesn't make sense to. Namco is making the game on Wii architecture, it would be a hassle to just port all that up. They've even added some DSi functions to the game. It would make more sense for them to make a new Tales game for the PS3 in mind.

I don't think so. The others that were ported were easy ports. The graphics were similar. For this, they have to improve the graphics and everything. I think this one will stay exclusive to Wii.

If Famitsu coverage is any indicator, it will be successful. Not only that, it will also be bundled with the Wii in Japan.

Nice speculation there TC, I didn't even realize this until you brought up this point. It is a good possibility that it might be coming to the PS3, but I wouldn't be surprise either if it didn't happen. Hopefully it does happen so more people can play it.

Not gonna happen. The GC and PS2 were close in power, and for Vesperia so does the 360 and PS3 are close to power. Graces was built for the Wii I doubt they will port it since it wont look good.

Well, I hope it doesn't to be honest. I don't want to buy 2 copies of the game or wait for the superior version. I wish they would just release it for one console and provide all the extra content or at least make it available as DLC.

In either case I'll get the Wii version and if it does come out for the PS3 later, then I guess I'll buy it assuming the game is amazing.
